![]() A friend told me she checked out my favorites for suggestions, so I'm adding a bit of information. I read Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Buffy, and mixed movie and book based stories, especially crossovers. I tend not to read anime or anime crossovers unless I really like the author. Gen, het, slash, femslash - all are acceptable if well done - and while I prefer plot the occasional PWP is okay. My favorites list is a mixture of complete stories and works in progress. And are selected for variety of reasons. I enjoy stories that are well written, with well paced plot, grammar, spelling etc. but I also choose stories that create an emotional reaction while I'm reading even if there are some technical issues. 03/08/09 I've gotten sucked into the Harry Potter fandom and may never get out - its kinda overwhelming. Some amazing authors and stories. I'm struggling with Harry / Ginny because even when the story is AU, I have a mental block due to my loathing of what was done to Ginny as a person, and as part of the couple by JKR. 03/08/10 Not exactly a new year resolution, but I am going to try to be much better about a) leaving reviews, and b) leaving more specifics. I don't think I do too badly compared to some, but I have a really bad tendency to get caught up in the story and forget or leave a few words that make total sense to me at the time which don't make sense to the author. I WISH - ffn had the willingness and space to store review responses on site everyone's questions and clarifications could be seen - there is a demon out there for that right? Anybody? 03/06/12 Smallville (and dcu crossovers) is a recent addiction. This was a big surprise since I rarely watched the show after the first season. CLex is my favorite pair, but Clark with Chloe (no Lana or Lois), or Lex with Chloe (Lana or Lois is okay) are good too. |
