The unofficial fan fic author's motto: Anything not nailed down in the source material is mine. Anything I can pry lose, is not nailed down.
For those of you who have been reading my work for awhile and have wanted to know more about me I apologize for not writing this sooner. I rarely read profiles myself and prefer to judge and be judged by the quality of the stories. That being said, I probably still would not be writing this were it not for my sister and fellow fan fic author Evilnor. (AKA Buto for those of you who have enjoyed our Beast Machines Dinobot Saga, posted under my name.) Put simply, she plugged my work in her profile so I'm returning the favor.
For those of you whose stories I have reviewed, I just want you to know that I hold myself to the same standards as I hold you, and I try to write reviews that I would like to receive. I appreciate all the reviews I have earned, but the more informative the review is the better for both the writer and the readers. Don't be concerned about my feelings. Be concerned about helping me improve. If you hated something, tell me so I can fix it. If you loved something, tell me so I know what I did right. If you say the story is junk I will probably thank you as long as you support your opinion by telling me why it is junk. (And if you don't support your opinion in the review I will PM you until I get an explanation.) If the best you can do is a fluff review don't worry as I do enjoy those. They are the candy of fanfiction writers.
My sister and I both pride ourselves on writing quality work, (a side effect of being raised by English teachers) are sticklers for character accuracy, and generally don't believe in posting stories unless we are finished writing them. We have even collaborated on some stories. Our first being a DBZ fic, posted under the pseudonym The angry Telephone Number, entitled The Craving.
Evilnor has written three stories so far for Avatar the Last Airbender and I recommend all of them. She has also posted stories in another catagory that I am unfamiliar with. She takes awhile to finish and post her stories but they're usually worth the wait.
I have written a total of 34 stories so far, in almost as many realities, with several more in the works. I'm particularly proud of my Beacon Stories of which I have written 8.
Beacon is a recruiter for a multi-dimensional organization who enters the realities of various shows and movies to recruit characters who either get the short end in their stories (like Mystique in the third Xmen movie) or have stories with seemingly unresolved endings (like the Ultimen from Justice League Unlimited). The organization can even rescue a character from certain death if they can do it without being noticed.(Lieutenant Helga Sinclair from Atlantis: The Lost Empire.) Just my way of rescuing interesting characters that I think deserve a new chance in life and I hope other writers pick up the idea. Probably sounds vain to want to start something like this, but I think it would be interesting to see if I can inspire other writers to rescue their favorite lose end and/or unfortunate characters. If you wish to write a Beacon story of your own let me know and I will send you the criteria that I've been using.
