Well, how about that? Had not updated this profile since Oct 1 2008! Suffice to say, I'm no longer 22 *sigh*... what else has changed? Um, still love horses and reading (still not at the same time), but am married, mum to 2 guinea pigs and a hamster, and work as a child wrangler/teacher. I love words, hate the m25 and enjoy eating Hillybilly ice cream from Blaze Farm.
Ah the egotistical bio... well I'm 22, have a bachelors degree in ancient and modern history and a masters in medieval history. This should mean I'm smart but they say qualifications aren't everything and I believe them. (On the other hand I probably am the world's leading expert on medieval Sherwood forest...=p)
Apart from the obvious historical geekage, my life's two biggest passions are reading and horse riding. Though not at the same time.
I'm a longtime member of, and a sporadic visitor to, ff.net. And I'm an even more occassional writer. This is partly because I've never felt I have amazing talent in the writing department but mostly because I tend to loose steam part way through a story and just stop. This laziness annoys me and so I rarely let myself get started.
I will read pretty much anything you put infront of me, because believe me there's a lot of things more interesting than the Regards of Whittlewood Forest 1337-74 and I've ploughed through those a few times.
If I read your story, I will leave a review, because I appreciate the hardwork and dedication that people put into their fiction. Everyone knows writers live for reviews.
My favourite books are mainly fantasy: Discworld, Wheel of Time, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, but I'm also a huge fan of anything Bill Bryson has ever written along with page turning thrillers comme Dan Brown. Robert Langdon is pretty hot.
If you've read any of my stories you'll notice I have a love affair with the comma and ridiculously long sentences. It's my one vice. Well, that and chocolate.
