. . . . . Obliviator Progress:
Updating in a week or two, depends how busy work gets.
I am working on very important parts in the story. I'm trying to get several chapters ahead to make sure it all makes sense so when I update there will be lots of new chapters! I have a life therefore I can't spend every waking minute on this story but that doesn't mean that I won't finish it. I'm super grateful for all the love I'm getting and that's why I'm being so careful. I want to deliver quality, not junk.
Obliviator Australia Inspirations:
My favorite pairing is, can you guess? Draco and Hermione. I got into Draco/Hermione by (as many of us did) reading fan fic that starred both of them. They never really got anywhere in the story but it was enough to get me hooked. I love how it's an unexpected pairing. I find that there's only so much you can do with Ron/Hermione but with Draco/Hermione, the possibilities are just endless! You always have to come up with ways to get them to meet and to have them start falling for each other and to me, that's the best part.
I don't like writing stories that are predictable... at least, not too predictable. There's still so many ideas out there that haven't been written, and that's where I like to come in. I try to write scenes in my stories that set them apart from everybody else's. If I'm not going to at least try to have my fan fiction stories have a little something special, why even bother if it's already been done before??
As a writer, I've been around here for a long time. I am far from perfect and I'm still learning that dialogue isn't everything. For now I'm just focusing on Dramione but time will tell if I dabble in other genre's. Usually I just leave books alone if I'm satisfied with how they ended and don't feel like I have anything worthwhile to contribute.
All the covers are made by yours truly. I have this tradition that as long as a fic has 10 chapters, it gets a cover. If you go through the covers by publishing date you can see I've come a long way since my first cover (Once And For All, which I have updated). I'm still no pro but I do a pretty good job for myself, in example my my avatar. Maybe one day I'll fix the covers I was no pro at because in all honesty, they DO make me cringe, and I'm sure they make you feel the same way.
I'm a technical designer, and I'm currently working for the summer at a really prestigious company. I refuse to name drop, but it is quite the looker on my resume. Hours depend on how much work there is, and there's always stuff to do. Then, on the weekends I have another job. Please do excuse me as my updates are quite sporadic, yet never forgotten.
