Author has written 2 stories for Valdemar universe. Name: Sugoichicken (Sugoi is the Japanese word for 'good' or 'cool'. I just like the way it sounds. It's pronounced Sue-goy-i) E-mail: sugoichicken@ Gender: Last I checked I was a girl in my early 20's Location: The recesses of university hell, History major Favorites: Authors - Mercedes Lackey, J.K. Rowling, Bram Stoker, Jane Austin, Charles Dickens, other random people Movies - Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars (the original trilogy, not the prequel crap, and no Special Edition), Indiana Jones, Snatch, I Heart Huckabees, Kill Bill 1&2, A Bug's Life, Serenity T.V. - Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Survivor (guilty pleasure), The Amazing Race, Most Haunted, baseball season, The 4400, Monk, Psych, Farscape, Firefly, X-Men TAS, Burn Notice Music - Dixie Chicks, Saving Jane, Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback, Panic at the Disco!, The Fray, Pink, Michelle Branch Dislikes: Republicans, chile (the food, right now have no problem with the country), wearing wet clothes, cold weather, preppy people (we all know the type), people who aren't open minded and think their way is always right Other stuff - Nerd really describes it all. I started writing fan fiction, worship Star Wars, read manga and watch anime, and would love nothing more than to read the entirety of the X-Men comics and not have to pay a cent. I really need a life but as a history major, I don't by automatic default. Even though fantasy is my favorite genre, I've always felt that the more realistic you can make the story and characters, the better the story is because it has a tone that rings true to real life. Yes, unfortunately I did take the "American-fish outta water" approach as my first attempt at writing fanfiction, but hopefully mine feel more realistic. Life isn't full of happy endings and so neither are my stories; shit happens. So far people leaving reviews seem to be happy with my stories so I must be doing something right!:D (Either that or those people have absolutely no taste. Just kidding.) UPDATE: Hey people, guess what? I'm not dead!! Just wanted to say that Chapter 10 of "Taking The Long Way" is in the works, it's just giving me hell for some reason. It all works out in my head, but translating that to the computer's been a nightmare. So it's slowly taking shape but with no future ETA in sight, which doubly sucks. The wait continues... |
