Author has written 4 stories for Phantom of the Opera.
Hello Readers!

I’m glad you stumbled on my little page here. I find that I like to know a little about the author behind the stories, so I’m going to put up a short little bio about myself incase there are people like me out there. If you don’t care to know a single gosh-dang thing about me just continue on down the page a little and you’ll find a list of my stories.

First off, my name is Laura. I’m currently a junior at a fairly small school in central Texas. I was born in Long Island, New York and lived there for a while before moving here.
I first saw The Phantom of the Opera back in the summer of 2005 and I fell madly in love with it. The story was amazing and the songs blew me away. After watching ALW’s movie ending though, I became a HUGE Erik/Christine shipper, and my stories reflect that.
Also, because ALW’s 2004 movie was my first Phantom experience, its his characters that I usually base mine off of, mainly because when I think of them my mind returns to the movie I watched a thousand times. And I don’t care what you say, I adore Gerald Butler as the Phantom =P

I first started writing my stories about a year ago and I first posted them on Aria. I had a few that started out alright, and then my muse slowly died. I am thinking about going through my old files and rewriting and reposting some of the ones at were originally on Aria, but no promises. The stories I am going to post on here are also posted under the pen name Hopelessly_Yours on unending-night.com with the same story name.

Now, here is the story list!

Before the Dream: My pet project =) This story is all about what happened BEFORE the movie starts. It shows how and why the bond between Christine and Erik formed. Contains Madame Giry, Meg, Christine, Erik, Joseph Buquet, Carlotta and mentions of Raoul. I intend to end the story where the movie picks up, but I’ve fallen in love with my little characters, and who knows, I may decide to do a sequel of sorts.

Untitled: Since I didn’t get the ending I wanted in the movie, I decided to write one that soothes me slightly. Basically, Christine goes back to Erik, but she burned a great deal of bridges when she first left, and things won’t be exactly easy at first for the pair. Contains Christine, Erik, Raoul, Madame Giry (minor) and maybe Meg later on.

As You Wish: The story is a mix of PotO and The Princess Bride. I tried to keep many of the same elements from The Princess Bride, but a few things need to be cut out, but you should be able to see the allusions to the movie pretty easily. Contains Christine, a lighter Erik, a much darker Raoul and Madame Giry (maybe, trying to work her in), and Meg (minor).

The Siren’s Song: Another work in progress. I first posted it on Aria, but I didn’t like where it was going, so I’m going to get around to rewriting it and reposting it once some of my newer stuff is finished. It’s a PotO and Moulin Rouge mix. Contains Erik, Christine, Madame Giry, a not-so-nice Meg, a MUCH darker Raoul, and a few of the Moulin Rouge characters, but their personalities have been altered slightly.

Learn to be Lonely: A story based from Erik's point of view. Christine is out of his life, but there is another girl to take her place. NOT Erik/OC, I would never write one of those. Contains Erik, orginal characters, and maybe Raoul or Madame, but they would be minor.

Alright, well those are my stories. I hope you read them and enjoy them, and if you do PLEASE REVIEW! I cannot express enough how those things keep me going! I guess it’s a guilt thing, if I know people are reading my stuff, I’ll try to update more. Anyway, I’ve kept you here long enough, so scroll down just a tiny bit more and read, read, read!
