WHO I AM: I'm LilVlyRed, you may call me Lil. I'm in my mid-30's-ish, born and raised here in Southern California. I am a business-owner, a home-owner, a wife and mother, college educated and positively phanatical about Phantom of the Opera (the musical production specifically). I've seen the show in California and Arizona (touring company) and New York. I have tickets currently to see an alternate production in April in California and hope to see Ken Hills production someday.

YOU DON'T WRITE...WHY ARE YOU HERE? I come here solely for the Phantom stories. I've collected every published work I can find, and have turned to the wonderful authors on this site to keep me amused! LOL Because of my POTO knowledge, my passion for reading, and my education, I'm a great person to "run your works by".

HOBBIES: Phantom IS my hobby. I have a collection of memorabilia that could rival ANY other collection (bring it on, buddy), I've spent countless hours researching the history of the Opera House, Gaston Leroux, the background of his original work and it's evolution to the fan fictions such as those on this site. I follow various actors and actresses who are well known for playing principal roles in the production. In short (too late?), I am a connesiour of Phantom trivia, facts, photos, and whathaveyou.

FAVE MOVIES: As many of us, I tend toward the fantasy/romance movies such as Princess Bride, Edward Scissorhands, Pirates of the Caribbean. However, my somewhat warped sense of humor lends itself to movies such as Bad Santa, South Park, and anything Monty Python.

FAVE MUSIC: I am a child of the 80's. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, home of the Valley Girl. Much to the chagrin of my children, this is still the only music I listen to. Ah...Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Wang Chung, Echo and the Bunnymen...those were the days!

FAVE BOOKS: Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, Phantom by Susan Kay, Angel of Music by Carrie Hernandez, Angel of the Opera by Sam Sicilano, anything by Jennifer Wiener, anything by Stephen King

"Every good Opera House must have a ghost." - Erik (Phantom by Susan Kay)

"But people will have been killed!"
"Oh yes...I daresay that's quite likely. It's really quite difficult to be a murderer without killing people from time to time, you know." - Erik (Phantom by Susan Kay)

FAVE PHANTOM MOMENT: Took place outside the Majestic Theater in Manhattan this June when, outside the stage door I managed to show my Phantom tattoo to one of the principles (Roland Rusinek aka Piangi). I have a picture of the two of us...aaaahhhhhh, memories.

(I will update this if I ever get around to changing the email...I'd prefer to be called anything but Christine (not my fave character)!
