Hi! I'm AngelOfContemplation! I am an oddball In my own right who has many ideas racing around in my head. Call it authoric freedom to be my eccentric lil self. If you've been to this page before, you will notice a few changes. It's not much, but it's simple and is a better profile than the first one. So welcome to my page. I do add things now and then when I remember to... enjoy!
Okay, somehing new on my profile I've been considering for a while... My Stats (aka, the about me in the real world):
Name: Jennifer (friends call me Jen _)
Birth date: October 9, 1985
Hobbies: reading, writing, drawing, sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, walking with my music player in my pocket, and hanging out with my friends and family.
Loves: Music, Anime, Books, Children, and Sarcasm. Some people just make it too easy for the rest of us to indulge our more... sarcastically geared funny bones.
Dislikes: closed-minded people, and those who do their best to force their opinions on others. I absolutely almost hate hypocrites, so I try not to be one myself. I don't claim to be anyone other than me.
MSN name: email@example.com If you have an msn account and want to chat with me, I'm open to communication with my fellow readers and writers.
Hopefully I can trust y'all to not attack my character or treat this info as a free pass to flame one of my stories. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but outright attacks fired off in a disrespectful or snide manner will face the full brunt of my temper because, honestly people, if you don't like the subjects touched upon in my stories, there was a back button ya coulda used very easily. It's no fault of my own you decided to read what you don't like, so my messenger name is not to be used for your anger at having read something you don't agree with. My loverlie readers who wish to talk to me about things I may have missed in a story, or things they wish I would've touched on, or even asking me if I'm going to continue a story or make a sequel or story out of a oneshot are free to do so any time I happen to be online.

Here, I have now answered the "I Am..." Question. Well.. partly anyways. _
I am a nerdy lil person. I love knowledge. I love to learn. I see things from different sides, and when it's a side I'm blind to I enjoy learning to understand the way that side thinks and feels and sees things. I read more than anything else that I do. History fascinates me. Peoples, cultures, countries, civilizations, eras... all things that makes me stop and listen. Sometimes, though I understand the whys and hows of things that are done, I reserve the right to think it odd or out of the rhelm of possibilities that I could live with. I reserve the right to think outside the box others put themselves in, yet hide away in my own box when the mood fits. I will forever enjoy learning and growing in knowledge. Different people have interesting things to share about the way that they see things and I take the time to listen. I also hold on to my right to listen without prejudice or assumptions and to disagree with them without losing sight of my beliefs or morals. I feel very strongly that you tend to learn things when you listen without thinking that there's always a place you need to read between the lines. Sometimes, even when people lie to you, there is always one shread of truth somewhere in that lie. So, I am a really odd nerd... who takes every day and every experience as a chance to learn something new, or figure out how to use a new perspective on things as a learning tool. For me, school has never been out of session... it has simply... moved to new locations and is now offering me a different teacher: Life itself.
I am open-minded about many things, and though many will not enjoy the exact same things I will, we are all entitled to our opinions ne? So no bashin me when I like somethin different, or something you don't particularly care for or hate with a passion, or even disagree with. I don't do it to you, I'd like for you not to do it to me. It is only fair after all. Besides, if we all had the same likes and dislikes we'd be no better than zombie puppets dancing on cue to a master's call. I myself have looked at profiles to get to know a few of my favorite authors a bit better. Some things I didn't particularly agree with, but as I typed, we are all entitled to our individual opinions.
(end of mini rant)
As anyone who has looked at my favorites list may know, I enjoy reading Yaoi/Slash fics. I also enjoy reading hetero stories. I'm a hopeless romantic and an emo kid all at the same time. I have my morbid moments, my depressed moments, my hyper times, and just regular old contented times where I think to my heart's content.
Since I have quite a few favorite quotes and tend to make up a few of my own... Here's my lil big Quotes Section:

YOU KNOW YOU'RE AN AUTHOR IF...
You talk to yourself a lot.
You talk to yourself about talking to yourself. (e.g. 'Why do I constantly ask my self random things?')
When you talk to yourself you often talk to yourself like you're talking to someone else. (e.g. 'Have you ever noticed that deliver could mean someones liver?')
After uttering a profound peice of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand with awe and say, 'Holy crap, this stuff is great for sugar highs...'
You live off of sugar and caffeine (the two greatest things ever discovered!)
You'll check your e-mail every day of the week and then disappear off the face of the earth.
You're e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.
When replying to an e-mail, you'll never actually address the point of it.
You tend to collect Bic Sticks off the ground like picking pennies off the ground.
No matter where you are in a room you never have to get up to find a pen/pencil and paper.
The letters on your keyboard are wearing off.
Your friends and family think that you have carpal tunnel syndrome.
People think you have A.D.D.
You think it'd be cool to have A.D.D.
You constantly start talking in third person, present or past tense.
You start thinking about making lists like this and start giggling for no "apparent" reason
Your friends stopped looking at you funny for no apparent reason a loooooong time ago.
And FINALLY, the one way to tell if you're a good writer: You failed English 101.
(copy that into your profile if you fit one or more of the descriptions)
If you've ever talked to yourself, copy and paste this into your profile.
You're a 90's kid if:
You can finish this 'ice ice _"
If you have ever pushed on a door that said pull or vise versa copy this into your profile.
If you have ever fallen up the stairs copy this into your profile.
If you've ever burst out laughing in a quiet room, copy this into your profile.
And yeah... i'm guilty of all three. Try pushing a door open, and it won't open... that's when you notice the sign on the door that says PULL.. Walking up the stairs, a natural klutz almost always finds a way to trip and nearly kiss the steps above the one tripped up... and yeah, ever been in a silent room with only your thoughts to keep you company... then maybe one is more funny than the rest and you bust out laughing while everyone else is completely out of the loop and oblivious to the joke you're laughing over? mhm... that's why I copied and pasted this...
Alrighty then!! Time for Story talk!! boy, I haven't updated this in way too long. Sorry about that guys! Anyway, let's begin with those stories on temporary hold.
My rework of Time Changes Everything and Nothing at All is on hold until my Naruto muse blesses me with the inspiration I need to fix the story with. It is good as is for my first fiction, but I'd like to clean it up and make it as good as I can with my current, though questionable, skills.
The Legacy of Two Blondes
is also on hold due to that annoyingly absent Naruto muse of mine. I will not abandon it, but it will take me a little while to play with it again and get back into my plotline. thanks to my computer breaking down on me with the chapters I was working on still on it and not on my flash drive... I lost what I wanted to do with it. 'Tis a tragedy of untold woe... but alas, it will be continued someday, I promise.
20 songfic onshots
is also on hold, but only until I find a lil musical inspiration. i still need to figure out a good lemon song for them... i got a request for that once, and i've been seriously thinking about giving it a try. It wouldn't be detailed, but it would still be one.
There are so many ideas and stories dancing around in my head that I'm afraid of starting on one of my notebooks and notebooks full of ideas without having the basic storyline set up first. So far I have only Harry Potter ideas dancing around in my head, so bear with me Naruto fans and hang in there. Lord only knows when I'll be able to find my Naruto plot bunnies again, but once I do, those stories will be going strong again. For now, it's Harry Potter until Naruto bugs me again.
As for reviews... I'll admit that they brighten up my day and put a big huge goofy smile on my face, but I'm not going to beg you for them. It's an accepted thing with me, if you feel you've got a moment, or a thought to spare, then you'll leave one. If you don't, then there's no use crying over it. I may pout, but I will type up another chapter as soon as I can like a good little still learning author. I still need growth as an author because i am far from the best, so i don't expect glowing reviews all the time, or even sometimes, but nice reviews and constructive criticism is appreciated more than anything.
And honestly, if people don't take the time to look at warnings, or pairings and start reading your fiction anyway... If they actually have the nerve to read it all the way through and flame you because there was something in it that they hated that you'd warned them about, then they shouldn't have continued reading in the first place and they shouldn't have complained. It's not your fault if someone who hates a male/male pairing reads your story. If they hated it so much, then once they figured out what was going on and who you were pairing up, then they should be nice enough to stop reading and back out of it. It's not that hard.
I always try to look at the warnings of a story and if I think there's something in that warning that points to something I'm not going to like, then I back out of reading the story, so I know it's not hard for people to do that. I have; however, gotten a good review from someone who usually wouldn't read a yaoi story, but they did and enjoyed it. I forget now what story it was for, but i remember that review because it made me smile. Reviews like that, i don't mind, because it seemed to me that the person knew what they were reading and made the choice to continue. I'm only glad they enjoyed it. It's the people who know what they're getting into and flame the author, who warned them that rub me the wrong way. So please be careful of that, and ALWAYS read the warnings, and if there's something you think an author needs to warn the audience about, then tell them, and the more polite you are about it, the more willing they'll be to fix the problem.
