Author has written 11 stories for Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Final Fantasy IX, and Ouran High School Host Club.
The writer formerly known as artes - on a whim, I decided to change my penname to Estheim here.
February 27, 2012. I am sorry to admit that my previous promise of working on my fanfiction as quickly as possible did not pan out - problems in life turned into an onslaught shortly after I made that promise. However, I am at a point now where I think I can work on writing slowly but surely.
I have a lot of new ideas for stories now on top of my older ideas, and I intend to get at least some of them written up. These include stories for Ouran High School Host Club as well as stories for Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2. There are a lot of "what if" ideas floating around for all of these.
As before, if you have a Dreamwidth account, feel free to subscribe to my writing community - zips[dot]dreamwidth[dot]org - on there. I post snippets of my works in progress there from time to time as well as my completed stories, so it not just another venue to find my work but also somewhere to get some previews of what strange, messed up ideas are floating around in my head.
Best wishes, everyone, and thank you again for your patience!
Works in Progress
Or Everything That Matters Breaks in Two . A sequel to In Place of Modesty; confidence in their own ability to keep themselves under wraps can lead the Hitachiin brothers to disaster. What can they do when it seems that everything that matters to them might break apart? (Ouran High School Host Club . HikaKao, mentions of HikaHaru and TamaHaru . In Progress/rewriting)
A Scattered Dream . He'd never once followed through with any threat he'd made to Kaoru, but there were first times for everything. It was just too bad that no one ever told him that not every first was a good thing. (Ouran High School Host Club . Hikaru/Kaoru, Hikaru/Haruhi, Tamaki/Haruhi . In Progress/rewriting)
Every Breath We Drew . Every breath he drew felt hollow because it was not accompanied by an exhalation and his hand was cold from remaining empty for too long. A piece of him was missing, and he needed to get it back. (Ouran High School Host Club . Hikaru/Kaoru, Hikaru/Haruhi, Tamaki/Haruhi . In Progress)
Just Keep Holding On . Sometimes, hoping and dreaming just isn't enough; in moments of weakness, she needed someone there, so he was. Even when everything told him this was a bad idea, he couldn't bring himself to deny her request. (Final Fantasy XIII-2 . Hope/Serah, Snow/Serah . In Progress)
And Ever So Tightly In His Grasp . Everyone he cared about disappeared, one-by-one. He couldn't take it anymore; he couldn't take losing anyone else. So he held on as tightly as he could even as he pushed away without ever realizing it. (Final Fantasy XIII-2 . Maqui/Hope . In Progress)
