Update 01/06/12

Progress has been non-existent since my last update. Uni has been tough these past months, but I have my last exam in 12 hours, so after that, things should start to move again. It will help that I'll be back at home with my main source of support, my boyfriend. He helps keep me going with fanfic rather than letting me get distracted with video games. In turn, I beta his original fiction, and critique his original music scores. Win-win for us both.

As a separate point of note, I'm much more versed in the Avatar canon than the Naruto-verse, and more so with the airing of The Legend of Korra. It may be the case that I divert my attentions in this direction if I can devise an interesting plot. I'm very keen to avoid re-writing the TV series with Sora and co along for the ride, there are enough of those on the web. So far, I've only got the one idea for a direction to take, but nothing on actual content. I'd need some time to think and plan.

Dissertation this summer. I'll need to manage my time carefully to pull this off (if it happens)!

Update 20/09/11

Most of the planning is sorted, The beginning and beginning to middle is written out in note form. I have a few big battle scenes in mind that I need to tie neatly into the story, and the pre-finale segment is pretty epic so far. I've started writing the prelude chapter, and the scene which creates the plot for the entire story. I'm really enjoying writing this scene, although in general, progress has been slow.

My first attempt at fanfiction is in the planning stage. A Kingdom Hearts/Naruto crossover. The style of the story is weighted heavily on Kingdom Hearts at the moment, as I am very new to the Naruto manga (I haven't caught up yet!), although I hope fans of both series' will enjoy it!

A Little Info:

What's your personality like?- Usually calm and reserved, with sudden and unexplainable bouts of strange weirdness. I like to make people laugh, I like being made laugh, and I also hate making people mad, or getting them upset

Books I Don't Like- I can't think of any specifically, but generally horror stories, or stories with OTT gore, death, suicide, or mutilation of body parts.

What's your thoughts on writing?- I love reading. Writings okay, but I suffer from a distinct lack of plot bunnies :-(, i prefer to read what other people think and then think about the story for weeks, or until it becomes an obsession!
