I REGRET TO INFORM MY READERS, NEW AND OLD, THAT THE ONLY SEQUELS/PREQUELS I WILL BE PUTTING OUT ARE THE FOLLOW-UP ON FIRE AND ICE, AND THE 'HOW THEY MET' STORY FOR MOVIE NIGHT. I MAY ADD ONE SEQUEL TO THIS LIST, BUT A DISTINCT LACK OF INTEREST, MOTIVATION, AND MUSE HAS LEFT THE OTHER SEQUEL IDEAS TO BECOME NAUGHT BUT DUST IN THE WIND. THANK YOU, VALUED READERS, FOR YOUR TIME.
I'm a writer, first and foremost. I have never questioned this choice in career. However, I am also studying to earn my Masters in Library Sciences. That's right, a librarian. It is a noble and dying profession, and has been my dream since childhood.
I never write 'existing relationship' (E.R.) stories, so don't expect any. In a few (and I mean very few) I may touch on some leftover plot from before the relationship began, I may even write the occasional first date. But know this: Relationships are complicated, and no one is ever happy all the time. This is true for characters and readers alike. If I were to write a story based on an existing relationship, many of you would complain because it's counter-intuitive to your own experience. Since my fanfiction is a time pursuit and not my job, I don't feel that I should subject myself to your criticism just because my life is more or less complicated than yours, so get used to it. If you don't like something I've written, then you can certainly let me know, it's my only means of improvement; if, however, you deign something as 'not to your liking' then you can put it where the sun don't shine. This is not for you, it is for me. Fanfiction is a means of removing my writer's block when inspiration for my novels is slow, and thus it is not my job to please you. I'm sure one or two smart-a*es are asking why I'd bother posting here in this case, despite my already having given the answer: Improvement. The button at the bottom of each story does not read "comment", but "review". This is for a reason. If I'm doing a good job, I like to know about it so that I continue to do so here and elsewhere, if I'm not then I need to know that, too.
That said, I do truly hope my readers enjoy my work, as my writing is contingent upon your happiness, after all.
Flamers will be thrown in the Bog of Eternal Stench, Avada Kedavra'd, turned into ghosts to be hunted by Halfa's, experimented on by Lex Luthor, given to Mordred, and then all remains will be given to Boston P.D. or LVPD for disposal, m'kay?
