Author has written 93 stories for American Dragon: Jake Long, Final Fantasy X, Wicked, Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Darren Shan Saga/Cirque Du Freak, Song of the Lioness, iCarly, Demonata, High School Musical, Twilight, Hunger Games, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Redwall, Pokémon, Frozen, Undertale, Life is Strange, Dragon Age, CrossCode, and Octopath Traveler. Hello, I'm Geth. I've been on this site for a while. I'm sure if you read all the author's notes I've ever written, you'll be able to piece together a worryingly accurate description of my personal details. I'm banking on nobody having the patience to do that. This being said, a mysterious number does keep ringing my mobile so perhaps I've underestimated how bored someone is. I'm not the most attentive of authors - I have a habit of not responding for days/weeks, especially if my work (real life work, not an artistic term for fanfiction) has overtaken my life or I've wandered off somewhere without internet. However, I've kept email alerts enabled to an account that I check daily so if you send me a message or a review, I will see it. I think the longest I've not responded to someone is about 10 weeks. I'm pretty sure I then sent about 3 or 4 messages so on top of having to wait 10 weeks for a response, this poor person got accidentally spammed. If you're reading this, I'm still sorry! Otherwise, I hope you enjoy my writing. The older stuff isn't particularly good - feel free to constructively criticise anything but I like to think I've improved over the past 8 years (might be wrong but it's what I like to think). And while I love it when someone reviews, favourites or follows something I write (though I will be politely confused if you choose to follow a oneshot/completed fic), I have one main policy on this site: if someone out there reads it and likes it, then I'm happy. So if I put up a chaptered fic and you like it but you're too shy - or don't want to make an account - to say anything, just keep reading. I'll see that you viewed the next chapter and, on the basic assumption that if you dislike something, you won't continue to read, I'll know you enjoyed it and want me to continue. I don't tend to write shipping stories and I often write OCs because I find non-shipping stories more interesting to write and OCs are more fun. At no point did I ever think being a popular fanfiction author would be my life's goal and thus I have coped with the fact that 99% of people do not want to read a non-shipping story involving an OC. I suppose I could try advertising my fics but this would involve effort and I'm fairly lazy. If you read my THG stuff, you may notice that there are canon errors. Before you point them out to me, check out the date of the story - there's a good chance it was written before the relevant book with the information you're thinking of. I don't go back and correct these errors because I always find it kind of fun to see what people thought before the information was available. If the story post-dates the book, please do point out the error to me! (You may also notice my attempt at using American English. Feel free to laugh at it. The spelling is unapologetically not American though.) I try to review when I read and I usually give concrit. This isn't because I don't like your story but because I think anything can be improved. Also because I spend a lot of my life proof-reading and it's surprisingly hard to stop. I don't put anything or anyone on alert (because I've usually reviewed a story I want to follow so I check the review page for updates), I rarely favourite a story and almost never favourite an author (in fact, at the time of writing, I haven't favourited anyone. I did at one point): you pretty much have to really impress me for me to favourite you. Finally, Bajun has done a translation of To Kill a Mockingjay into Russian. If you want to read it, it is at https :// ficbook. net/ readfic/4166955 While I was looking for that, I discovered there's a German translation of it too. Apparently I agreed to this one too though I don't recognise the username - but it was six years ago apparently! Anyway, it's http :// www .fanfiktion . de /s /4bc322e500010ebe06716b49/1/To-kill-a-Mockingjay Bajun has also translated The Minister of Public Welfare and Guardian into Russian - feel free to check them out: Minister of Public Welfare: https :// ficbook . net/ readfic/4250291 Guardian: https :// ficbook . net/ readfic/4174868 Consider these a free crash course in German and Russian. Hope you enjoy and have a good day :) |
