![]() Author has written 12 stories for Samurai Jack, Game of Thrones, Fusion Fall, Gargoyles, DC Superheroes, Star Wars, Middle-earth, RWBY, and Voltron: Legendary Defender. March 22nd, 2018 Hello Fanfiction! This account has been inactive for the last several years, but I’ve recently made the decision to come back and begin with a blank slate, completely removing my old stories. In addition I am changing my username from Steel Scale to something else (odds are you’ve already noticed the different name if you’re reading this). My interests lay mainly in Mass Effect and other miscellaneous science fiction or fantasy genres. Potential Story Concepts Son of Chaos (Game of Thrones/ A Song of Ice and Fire) What if Lysa Tully’s child by Petyr Baelish was not forcefully aborted thanks to the intervention of her uncle Brynden? What if that child, a Rivers, was raised by his Stark relatives as further recompense for Ned Stark’s infidelity, then squired for his uncle Brynden just on the eve before the War of the Five Kings? How would the bastard son of Westeros’ most nefarious schemer change events with his mere existence? The Growing Stag (Game of Thrones/ A Song of Ice and Fire) Robert Baratheon falls on the Trident, taking Rhaegar with him. Stannis is stricken with illness brought on by prolonged starvation when Davos Seaworth is just a little too late, giving his remaining rations to a young Renly who is left holding the crown. Now shunted into the roll as King on the Iron Throne, Renly Baratheon’s leisurely upbringing at Highgarden is exchanged for the cutthroat politics of King’s Landing where his greatest friends turn out to be a niece he’d never known, a handsome knight of the Reach and a shaggy haired girl with a penchant for chasing cats. The Fostering of Jon Snow (Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice and Fire) A series of short stories in which Jon Snow is fostered to different families. Exact age and reasoning for each choice would vary, as would the potential ramifications of Jon being raised in different scenarios. Would he have flourished in the sands of Dorne? Or excelled under the tutelage of the Lannisters? Or maybe even been entrusted to Catelyn Stark’s dear childhood friend… Mass Effect: Innovation (Mass Effect) By chance, humanity discovers a new avenue for Element Zero based FTL travel. Slower than the Mass Relays but faster than conventional drives, it gives the fledgling nation an unparalleled advantage as it emerges onto the galactic scene. (Story would follow a format resembling a collection of historical articles and footage.) Mass Effect Andromeda 2 (Mass Effect) One year following the end of the game, the Andromeda Initiative and the flourishing Angara find a new threat to the Heleus Cluster during a mission to retrieve the missing fifth Ark. Faced with a second wave of Kett commanded by a dangerous new leader on one side and an aggressive new species to the other, Scott Ryder must now prepare for war to come to Heleus. The Drowned Archipelago (Dungeons and Dragons) Inspired by a campaign I have been directing, this would follow the adventure of a party that finds itself travelling to a region of cursed and war-torn islands. UPDATE (October 6th, 2021) I have been accepted to the Canadian Armed Forces and will be beginning Basic Military Qualification just after Halloween. Consequently, this means I wont have as much time for leisurely writing. But fear not, for I will not give up on them. I intend to continue working on Westeros: Shadow Beyond the Wall and Grimmfall: Eclipse whenever both time and motivation present themselves. |
