Author has written 15 stories for Harry Potter.

NEWS: June 2013

Where have I been? Why have I not updated in several years now?

In the time since my last update, several life-altering events have transpired. And no, I have NOT abandoned anything. The short version: for work I had to relocate to the other side of the world (24 hrs by airplane); my half-brother died; two brothers-in-law died; for work we moved back to the USA; my wife was diagnosed with metastatic cancer; and then regular life of work, young kids, and so on have been a constant drum.

As of June 2013, I have brought out the external disk backups of my plot, story notes, partially written materials, and so forth. I expect to begin publishing again sometime this September 2013 based on schedules and other known events in life.

Brief Bio:

Age: Wishing for only 30

Education: PhD

You can talk to me about anything you're willing to discuss intelligently. Note that modifier on the end. If you're going to spew nonsense and wallow in blissful lack of knowledge, bother someone else.

Echoes of Power started as my own diversion from a much longer story idea I had for the HP universe -- that longer idea has since been handed off to another author to develop.

I generally abhor the idea of writing multiple stories at the same time, since it slows down the main effort and generally weakens them all, but I have to break down every now and then to do a one-off or chase a plot bunny. Ridiculous, Pratfall, etc. are examples of this. Others are coming as well. Be advised: Not all bunnies are cute and fluffy.
