I shan't bother with favourite movies or television shows because we would be here forever... but suffice it to say that the fandoms I read regularly are... Ocean's 11, Primeval, Hairspray, Torchwood, Stargate Atlantis, CSI:New York and others...
Biggest influences: John Barrowman, Alan Alda, my music teacher (Miss T Ward), and my english teacher (Mr E Gilchrist).
Ambitions: To actually publish something, to become a West End star (or something in the world of musical theatre), to become a pilot, to have a life which constantly changes but be successful in everything I do.
-I am obsessed with music- there should be a soundtrack to everyone's life.
-I love writing- doesn't matter what... stories, poetry, articles... it's all good.
-You need to like your characters. Or hate them.
-There's no point in doing something if you don't do it properly. Otherwise it's just a waste of time.
-I'm bi- this shouldn't be important... but apparently it is...
-'...' was a great invention!
-Flattery will get you everywhere... with me at least... I have to be the best. It's a character flaw, I know.
-I hate discrimination... of any kind.
-I can be quite cynical at times.
John Barrowman's autobiography was an eye-opener in terms of realising that if you put your mind to it, and are truly dedicated, there is nothing you can't do. Alan Alda is an inspiring person... and an enigma as far as I am concerned. His autobiography doesn't fit the man we see on television or in films. A truly talented actor. Miss T Ward, my music teacher- an awesome singer with no time for anyone who isn't dedicated. She really knows what she's doing and has taught me more about singing than anyone I have ever met, something which I am truly thankful for. Last, but certainly not least, Mr E Gilchrist, my english teacher- someone who inspires me to do my best, knows how to motivate me, and knows what he's talking about in terms of literature, poetry, and everyday life. He's also a life-safer when it comes to passing English GCSE!
I plan to post a variety of different types of writing here; stories, poetry, and essays. Reviews will be much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this- I hope it helps you to understand me, and therefore my writing, a little better.
