ABOUT ME (...who, what, when, where...)
My name is Fie, though around the net I am widely known as Leukhendian or Leuky (hands off, original names). I was born in October 1990, and I am of Danish descent. I am a film enthusiast dreaming of one day becoming a professional filmmaker, but I also have a passion for writing, which goes without saying.
BACKGROUND (...history of writing...)
My interest in writing in English rather than in Danish stems from many years ago. It began slowly with reading a couple of fanfics and a few novels (Harry Potter, of course), and not long after, I began writing in English myself. First I wrote some original stories (one of which has turned into a novel in progress, but may never be completed), but not long after came fanfictions. So far I have published some Harry Potter and Batman stories, only the best of which have been published here. In the future, there will be more about the same subjects, but also about others.
Orlando - Virginia Woolf
Favourite Batman Graphic Novels:
Batman: Year One - Frank Miller
Besides the classic graphic novels, I really commend playing the Arkham video games as well as reading the tie-in graphic novels. If you're a real Batfan, you're sure to enjoy these excellently written storylines (and shocking plot twists)! Also, make sure you check out Team Starkid's fan musical, "Holy Musical B@man".
NEWS (...what's happening...)
2015: Apr 23 - 08:25 PM - Central European Time
It's a little known fact that a month, to an author, feels like a minute. Unfortunately, it's true that the years have been passing me by seemingly unnoticed. One moment I'm busy jotting down plot ideas, and the next I'm unable to pick up the pen. Needless to say, life has kept me busy with its bittersweet ups and downs. Suddenly, writing didn't feel so important anymore. I constantly find myself thinking I should get back to it, but to make a long story very short, I've simply lost the drive to write. In order to get somewhere as a writer, it's important to keep the momentum going, because there's nothing scarier than hitting the proverbial wall of a writer's block. Now, I've been hiatus for a while, but I'm writing this to say that I'm still here, I still plan on continuing, it's just a matter of when. And I feel so grateful that some of you are still hanging on. Thank you. :)
