Author has written 7 stories for Tenchi Muyo, Love Hina, and Kim Possible.
Well, Self Sacrifice is done and I hope everyone liked it. I actually wrote his fic in 2002 and posted it on TMFFA. I also have another one called Lost Legends I am currently picking up again, so look for chap. 4 in the near future.
I've been watching and collecting anime for years now. My collection is pushing over 500 maybe 600 titles. I really got into it when I was stationed in Japan for about 8 years. I have probably read every TM fic in existence. The only ones I really don't care for are song fics and SI's. I am currently reading all the Love Hina fics (actually already read them), and I think I have 2 great story ideas that are just waiting to write themselves. Well, we'll see what happens.
As you can see and read I've added Love Hina to my list of writing endeavors. I appreciate all the kind reviews I've gotten for the works I've written. I am about to sojourn into the world of Kim Possible with a Halloween story about Ron Stoppable. I hope to write more and diverse stories of other anime and cartoon fiction, but I really have to get into the series to do that.
Note that in my writing some words appear to be misspelled. In most instances that is not the case. It is however the result that my keyboard is old and the "t" does not always come out when I press the key. That and the fact that it is hard for me to read the small fonts (even with glasses) when trying to edit the story/chapter in the documents/edit part of the fan fiction submission page.
Also note that most of the stories I write are AU. This is so that some "know it all" can not spout out that the character is supposed to do this or that so and so is like that. A word to the wise. If you are going to write a SI fic. Please don't. Most of them are just a way to try to glorify your own self worth, and most people just skip over them and leave you wondering why you don't get any reviews.
Note to reviewers: Don't just write "good job" or "nice story" or if your really PO'd don't write "it sucks". Say what you liked or didn't like about it. Most writers really do listen to their reviewers. I have made minor changes based on what my reviewers say, and I found it makes the story a better one.
Note on editing: After writing your story, reread it from beginning to the end. Then read it again. After posting your story, go to the site and read it again. This will help you pick out most spelling and grammar mistakes. It will make for a better story and help you become a better writer. Remember spell checker works with most misspelled words, bit when you write bear and bare it will not find anything wrong, but it will mess up your carefully crafted plot make you look "foolish" (insert any other word to describe moron here if you wish) to the reader.
Well untill the next time, Have fun reading and writing. And remember "If guns cause crimes, then pencils cause misspelled words".
I finally joined the ranks of the employed in July. I am currently working in Afghanistan. Unfortunately with the workday being 10-14 hours depending on Ops, and the heat at over 100 degrees, I find myself to wore out to write for any length of time. Rest assured though that the Love Hina fanfic "The Quiet Man" is being worked on. It is just taken me longer than I expected to get the next chapter out. My Kim Possible fanfic "Silence is Golden" is currently on hold, as I am trying to figure out where to go with the story.
Well until next time, (and since I'm in Afghanistan) remember, "A bullet may have your name on it, but a grenade is addressed "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN".
