![]() Author has written 5 stories for Mass Effect, Dark Souls, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Harry Potter. “A book is made from a tree. It is an assemblage of flat, flexible parts (still called "leaves") imprinted with dark pigmented squiggles. One glance at it and you hear the voice of another person, perhaps someone dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, the author is speaking, clearly and silently, inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people, citizens of distant epochs, who never knew one another. Books break the shackles of time ― proof that humans can work magic.” -Carl Sagan I write stories. Some of them are strange and dirty (see: Mass Effect stories) and some are sprawling epics (see: Dark Souls story). I'm a guy in my early twenties. I tell you this only because I've been asked about it on more than one occasion here, so, there you go. Writing is a great thing. So is reading. If you're here, you've accomplished at least one of those two things. Congratulations. And if you haven't done so, give writing a shot too. Not everyone can do it well, but if you work at it and care about it you might fall in love with it. As I have. I appreciate and listen to criticism, so don't shy away from letting me know what you think if you happen to read something of mine. I also welcome and will respond to PMs if you want to ask me any questions or leave suggestions. |
