Author has written 26 stories for Harry Potter, Pokémon, Star Wars, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Hello, hello! My name is Wendy and I'll be your host here today. I'm 21 years old, I'm a Capricorn, a Gryffindor, and I like Star Wars a little bit too much. I'm finishing up my undergrad in history and heaven only knows what I'll be doing after that.
I like to learn things about people, so here are some things that I like: Animal Crossing, Christmas, cats, the MCU Captain America movies, Britney Spears, girl bands, the color blue, literally anything having to do with outer space, Disney (esp. the Lion King), bread, being mentally healthy, and not being unnecessarily critical or rude.
I have a tumblr (parks-and-exploration) and a star wars side tumblr (general-skyguy) and an AO3 with the Spongyllama name where I sometimes cross-post my fics.
I don't really post new fics frequently and if I do they're generally oneshots, but for the last year I've been dedicating myself to my Star Wars fic Asylum which I love as if it were my own child. It's dark and emotional and inspired by Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. If FFN had tags the way AO3 does, it would be tagged with (hashtags) brainwashing, mental-health issues, friendship, trauma, AU - Canon Divergence, Canon-typical violence, hurt/comfort, etc.. I'm really interested in exploring the personalities and relationships of the characters, and in writing about things that I feel have been underrepresented in modern media like depression, anxiety, disability, trauma - all this stuff that we tend to prefer not to talk about. If you're into that and you decide to read it, then a) thanks and b) I hope you like and appreciate it! Your support means everything to me!
And um, for the sake of explanation, about the penname - I was 9 and passionately into Spongebob and llamas. Jimmy Neutron was really big. It was 2005. I could never think of another username so I used it for pretty much everything, and by the time I thought maybe I should change it I had already had enough popularity that I didn't want to confuse anyone. So um, that's that.
Have fun reading my stories if you choose to do so!
P.S. I hate it when people say this because it means they're not confident in their own writing, but yeah the stuff I wrote pre-2011 is sort of crack-ish and not up to my current standards, but occasionally people still read them so I won't delete them. Have fun with those too I guess, and may the Force be with you!
