Hello, 'ello, hola, aloha, konichiwa, etc.
Just a note, in case you haven't seen -- I've changed my penname. I was formerly some crazy girl who likes pie, but I've decided that, as I came up with that penname at age 10, it could probably do with some changing. My new penname is unfinishe, which is also the psuedo I'm using on AO3 (Archive of Our Own) and LJ (LiveJournal). You can find the link to my LJ above, where the links to my Tumblr, DeviantArt, and AO3 accounts can be found. I've also updated my profile quite a bit.
Who I Am:
Name and General Appearance: Appearance will not be given out, because I feel uncomfortable describing myself, but you can either call me unfinishe or Emma, my real name.
What I Write:
Current Obsession: Doctor Who / BBC Sherlock
What I Ship: note: these are only my OTPs; my other ships are not listed, though there may be more
The Doctor/Rose Tyler, Rory Williams/Amy Pond,Eleventh Doctor/Rory Williams (Doctor Who)
What Makes Me Tick:
The majority of my time is dominated by fandom. I write a lot, I read a lot, and I listen to a lot of music. I'm currently starting my second semester as a sophomore in high school and hope to get accepted to the University of Florida, where I plan on studying creative writing, English/Lit, and education (not all necessarily at the same time). I'm a hopeless romantic with dreams of a family and a yellow house with a porchswing.
What I Read:
Fanfic wise, I read strictly within my fandoms. I don't like to read outside my fandoms because I don't know the characters, and... yeah. I know some people will read outside, but I just don't feel comfortable doing it. Outside fanfiction, I've been slowly working my way through the classics (both American and European), as I don't have much time for anything outside that because of my school schedule. Any recommendations are most certainly welcome.
What I've Written:
Not all of my fics will be included on this list, because I'm hoping to move on past that stage in my life and onto a better defined, better written, and more mature stage of my writing (dare I say) career. So any fic updated before January 17, 2012 will not be included on the list.
I participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in 2011 and won in 2011.
WIPs: Aimless (Doctor Who), Shadow and Flame (The Mentalist)
Coming Soon to a Computer Near You:
Shadow and Flame: The Powers are an important part of society. Without them, none of the cities could function. But when an 18 year old Shadow, Aaron Fault, is found dead after being personally targeted by an all-Flame, anti-Shadow group, Teresa Lisbon, a Flame, and her team are forced to get help from Psychic Patrick Jane. Now if only he didn't have his own personal agenda... (Amount Written: 2/15)
My fanfiction can also be found on LiveJournal, Archive of Our Own, and a Tumblr that I am in the midst of putting together. The link to my LJ can be found at the top of the page, and links to all other accounts can be found in the sidebar of my journal. My LJ is friends-locked except for fanworks. If you wish to be added, comment on the first post and I will most likely add you.
A Note on Reviews:
I very rarely write canon fic. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a hopeless romantic and my favorite pairings are not canon. If you're one of those people who hates people who ship non-canon pairings, then DON'T read my stories. I will not be happy when you review saying that I fail and that my story is crap because it's non-canon. So yeah, if you're gonna be a hater, either don't read, or don't review. There are plenty of other people out there that will happily read my story, even though it is non-canon or AU. Thanks.
Also, I have no problem with constructive criticism. Dry chapter? Two-dimensional character? OOCness? Go ahead and tell me. Don't bash me for it, though. Tell me what to change and how to change it, and we won't have a problem. If you go out of your way to abuse me for a mistake, though, we will have a problem. Be nice. Concrit is welcome, flaming is not.
That's the end of the profound amazement you now all feel. One last thing:
