Which describes me to a tee. Fanfiction for me is a hobby, not a career. I write stories that I want to read, and I choose to share with any who might want to read them with me. I'm not out to change anyone's perspectives on anything, and I don't have the emotional energy to care about anyone changing mine. I write just for the fun of it. If you're not reading for the same reason, then my stories probably are not for you.

TRANSLATION REQUESTS: I've received a few translation requests over my years of writing. Enough to warrant this post. I'd like to set some rules I would ask anyone wishing to do a translation to follow (insofar as I can actually enforce anything, being fanfiction).

1) Ask first, please. Provide proper credit and links.

2) Please don't ask to translate ongoing stories. Theogony, for instance, is off limits while being posted initially.

3) Please only post your translation here on fanfiction dot net. If you were able to read it here, then you should be able to post your translation here. Please do not repost any of my works (translated or otherwise) on other websites. Links are fine and good, but please keep the actual stories here.

4) Please complete the translation before you begin to post. Even if you don't post it all at once, have it done before you start. I have completed every one of my stories, and it would be a shame for something with my name to be abandoned because a translator got tired (though with online translators, that's probably less of an struggle than it used to be).

If you are willing comply with my humble requests, in return I will be glad to link your translation in the story you've translated (as long as the translation is posted here on ffn.) An example of someone who was kindly willing to follow my requests is a Spanish translator linked in my first Firebird Trilogy story. They asked, very kindly followed the rules, began posting here on ffn as requested, and are now acknowledged and linked for their efforts.

I appreciate your willingness to work with me and happy you've enjoyed my ramblings enough to want to translate them.

I maintain two C2 communities here on Fanfiction dot net. The first is a community of over 600 completed fics that I've read and, at least at the time, enjoyed. Tastes change over the years, but when I added them to the C2, I mostly liked them:

2/14/2023--I have sent an email to the administrators of fictionhunt to please remove all of my stories from their website. Free to read does not mean free to reproduce, and they have taken all of my stories without my permission in clear violation of FFN's TOS and my own wishes. I will never tell any other writers what to do with their works, but for my own part it is my hope that fictionhunt respects my wishes and removes my stories from their site.

7/16/2020--I have renamed the Katarn Side to the Kyle Side. I did this for a couple of reasons. 1) It sounds better; 2) That was supposed to be it's original title; 3) I cannot recreate the thought process that changed the original title of "Kyle Side" to "Katarn Side". I also added a note for all those poor young people who've only known Disney Canon so they're not too confused by what SW canon was supposed to be.

The Boy Who Fell; or, The Adventures of Space Witch--A Harry Potter/Star Wars Fairy Tale. The Boy Who Lived didn't. Now, thirteen years after four-year-old Harry Potter was murdered by the Dursleys, magical England is on the verge of collapse with no savior standing by to save it. In the midst of all this chaos, Luna Lovegood makes a wish for someone to come and make it all better.

The Bonds of Blood--YASBF (Yet Another Soul Bond Fic) with a twist (I hope). Of all the Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley soul bond fics out there, this will be another one.

Unspeakable Things--Formerly Defense for Two. Adopted from Perspicacity with permission. They thought Lockhart was a fraud. They were wrong; he was their guide into a world of danger, adventure, intrigue and other Unspeakable Things.

Broken Chains--When Harry fell through the Veil after his godfather, that should have been the end of the story. Forty days later, someone with Harry Potter's face came back, but with a power unlike any the wizarding world had seen, and a darkness that made the light side despair, and the dark side afraid. H/Hr/L drama with sex, violence and a dark Harry. And a Seer Luna, just 'cause.

The Stars Alone--Sequel to Broken Chains. Every choice has a consequence. Every action has a price. Their financial empire lost, their allies turned against them for crimes they actually did commit, Harry, Hermione and Luna are exiled from Earth. The Goa'uld have no idea what is about to hit them, because only the stars alone know how far they will go.

Revenge of the Wizard--A Harry Potter cursed with immortality must not only survive the ravaging of Earth by monsters far more powerful than any humanity has encountered, but he must rise to save it, and in the process exact one wizard's revenge against the Galactic Empire.

The Kyle Side (Formerly The Katarn Side)--Kyle Katarn, Jedi Master and former general, came to Earth to retire in peace for the few years he had remaining in his long, hard life. He had no intention of ever taking another padawan, ever. Which is why, when the Force compelled him to sit in a park in Little Whinging and watch as a scrawny little kid got the snot beat out of him, he knew fate was not through making his life complicated.

Invincible-- “You are gathered here today because the world is going to end within the next three years,” Hermione said succinctly. “But my husband, having died before, is in no hurry to do so again. 2. The Forever Mage-- A young man with messy hair and green eyes finds himself in the middle of 24th Century Scotland with no memories. Join him as he tries to solve not only who he is, but where his people are. Second of the Forever Mage Trilogy, HP/ST:NG.
3. The Lord of Light--The third in the Forever Mage Trilogy, featuring the further adventures of Harry Potter after The Four Founders and Forever Mage. How will Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine handle a sorcerer from a long time ago, and a galaxy far, far away? This story includes two separate, alternate versions, though the ending is the same on both.
4. The Simurgh's Son--A Harry Potter/Worm Crossover. The world first saw Harry Bailey in an iconic photo kneeling on a road between his dead parents and the angelic, fifteen-foot tall Endbringer known as the Simurgh. The Simurgh’s psychic scream drove entire cities into homicidal or suicidal rages. In Harry, though, the scream woke something else entirely. He never told the heroes what happened. After all, how could an eight-year-old explain memories he could not possibly have, of a powerful, ancient sorcerer from a universe that preceded his own?

1. The Firebird's Son: Book I of the Firebird Trilogy--He stepped into a world he didn't understand, following footprints he could not see, toward a destiny he could never imagine. 3. The Firebird's Fury: Book III of the Firebird Trilogy--They had a plan, formulated from before they were even born. That plan died.
