Author has written 4 stories for Buffy X-overs.
Real name: Ida
Occupation: Law student at Uni, currently almost through my second year.
Favorite fandoms: BtVS crossovers, Harry Potter, The West Wing, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Law & Order (all spin offs), House,
Languages: Swedish, English and a tiny bit of French
I’ve been writing fan fiction for the last few years. Yes, some of that time was spent on hiatus not writing because my muse had taken a very long hike. But I never really ventured far off from things, meaning I didn’t give up on my stories and have no plan on doing so anytime soon. Or ever for that matter :)
For the most parts these days my life outside school is non-existent. Meaning, writing comes among my latter priorities. With each semester of law the stakes get higher, and the pressure builds. And failure isn’t precisely an option. Believe me, when one have to stuff in over ten frickin’ books, not counting several government texts, for one exam in your mind, then you definitely lose track of life in general. I've been having more Homer Simpsons' moments of stupidity these last few months, than I've had for a whole year. Come to think about it, it's quite worrying...
These days I also find myself a big fan of fandoms relating to cop shows and law in general. Meaning I love those kind of crossovers with BtVS. A side effect from my chosen career path, I suppose. Can’t say I honestly ever saw myself as the kind of person who’d live and breathe and think law, but hey, life works in mysterious ways. The more I learn, the more I like the challenge it presents. While my studies won’t make me a lawyer (thank God for that!), I’m definitely learning to argue like one. LOL. Though, for the love of my life, I still don't hit the law book to look up the law in question when I'm studying. Sorry my dear professors, don't think I'll ever manage to do that, no matter how many times you tell me to!
Besides writing fan fiction, my hobbies involve among other things cooking (but alas, can’t bake to save my life), music and reading. I also truly appreciate gardening. Have you ever seen flowers go from a seed to a flower day by day? It’s amazing to see, and, however small it is, play a part in creating. Now, here is where those who know me will laugh and point fingers and shake their heads. Yes, I know I kill off my plants on a regular basis. But not on purpose! And that doesn't mean I don't like to grow things. Nor does it keep me from trying to actually keep those plants alive for longer than a year. You know what they say... practice makes perfect. LOL. Maybe in the long haul I'll actually manage to actually keep a plant alive for at least two years.
A girl can hope, right?
Does this make me one of those boring persons? Maybe. But hey, we can’t all enjoy rock climbing and jumping out of airplanes ;)
Note to readers: Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about anything, either by PM or mail. Even if I appear un-active at FF and TTH and haven’t answered any reviews etc, chances are I’m simply busy and laying low till I have the chance to update, meaning I do still check my e-mail on a regular basis ;)
Honest reviews with constructive criticism are very much appreciated and welcomed. Flames or simple notes telling me how horrible the story in question is, will be ignored. I share my stories in order to evolve as a writer. Not so that they can be badmouthed by people who act like children instead of the grownups that they are.
These are the facts ladies and gentlemen, consider yourselves warned.

20th of February 2009:
I have finally updated both Colliding Lives and Discoveries with a chapter each. Let's just say real life's been a pain and it wasn't until now that I finally had the time and energy to write, edit and post. I'm hoping to resume my previous posting schedule - meaning a new chapter every week, but I make no promises. Uni's being worse. We're now doing the same course load we did last time, that took four months, in half that time. The pressure's rising without a doubt, and the stakes are higher. Either I pass, or I won't get to continue the program. Simple as that. Which means school has to come first for the time being. Sorry about that guys!
