Author has written 4 stories for Power Rangers.
Um...not much to say here, I guess. I'm a college student with not enough time on my hands, but I write fiction anyway. Everything I write is intended purely for people to enjoy, and I just wanted to share my ideas with the ff.net community. My favorite shows are Veronica Mars, House, Heroes (damn it, I didn't mean to get addicted), and I'm a dork and love Power Rangers (Ninja Storm, no matter how cheesy, is my favorite season). I hope people are receptive to my work and want to read more!
Current/In Progress Fiction
3/9/07 - My first fiction should be up on the 11th! It's a slash PRNS one shot titled "Coffee." I'm also working on a fiction called "Code," another PRNS slash fiction that will be multi-chapter if I can ever get over my writer's block. Hurrah!
4/16/07 - The sequel to Coffee is up, it's a story called Expectations and focuses mainly on Blake, but still has splashes of Hunter/Cam.
8/17/07 - I've posted another PRNS slash fic titled The Choices We Make, a Cam-centric fic that hopefully will also shine the spotlight on all the Rangers. Hunter/Cam eventually, but it's slow going. Chapters 1-3 are up.
9/11/07 - The Choices We Make is five chapters strong, and Hunter and Cam haven't even met yet. It'll happen. I think maybe in the eighth chapter. Or the ninth. Definitely by the tenth chapter, though. I'm so decisive, aren't I?
1/13/08 - The Choices We Make is up to eleven chapters, and yes, Hunter and Cam have finally met :) I also posted a new story called On the Brink of Change, a Hunter/Cam one-shot set right after "Storm Before the Calm." This one is close to my heart.
Favorite Quotes and Stuff
1st year college, fall quarter, intro chem I:
Me: "Our unknown didn't melt."
Professor: "...What was your unknown?"
My lab partner: "It had to have been octane--it's the only one with a high enough melting point. We think."
Professor:looks at data: "...Octane was a bad actor."
Me: "...So what do we put in our lab report?"
Professor: "Octane was a bad actor."
I've just got to put a few of my pet peeves up when it comes to reading stories, because I really don't like:
1) Stories focusing on characters that aren't originally in the series. OCs can be cool (I've written a few of them myself) but they should be tools to help characters grow, in my opinion, not main characters. Save that for original fiction.
2) Poorly written summaries, especially ones that include pleas for reviews. If you can't write a decent summary of your story, then how I am supposed to believe that you can write a good story? Keep review requests at the end of each chapter and never threaten (e.g. I'm going to stop writing if I don't get at least 5 reviews for this chapter).
3) Plagiarists - First of all, totally immoral. Second of all, I don't know about other authors, but if someone plagiarized my work after all the time I've spent on it? I'd be furious.
Those are just a few, there's plenty more...but I feel those three are the biggest. If I'm ever guilty of the above (I hope never the third one), someone please call me on it. Please.
