I am a female who "discovered" the world of Harry Potter through my child when I was over 40. I watched the movies with him, then I read all books in Czech, then borrowed them all in English. I loved them. Then I read the Cursed Child, and didnt like it. What next? I had been reluctant towards the fanfiction for a long time, I must admit, but there was actually no other way how to read about my favourite characters. So I started reading some HP fanfiction. I soon found out that my favourite pairing is SS/HG, not the pairing that (otherwise brilliant) JKR suggested.
