I don't write for everything I ship. I definitely write for my otp's and will 100% post for them. The others I read for, but am usually not inspired enough to write anything for them, with the exception of Remus/Hermione or Remus/Hermione/Sirius. Those stories, however, rarely get off the ground. I'll work on them once in a blue moon.

* Alpha vs. Beta *

This is a new concept I'm going to try for my fanfic. I have dozens (literally dozens) of fanfictions just sitting on my google drive and I figure I might as well post some of them. The problem is that I probably won't even finish the story. Not because I dislike the story, but I just haven't worked on it in forever or the inspiration is gone. But I still think others would enjoy reading it.

I'm going to implement a two-tier system for these fics. Alpha and Beta. Alpha fics are priority fics for me. They may not be updated constantly, but they are fics that I am always striving towards finishing. Beta fics will be stories that are either super old, abandoned, or just really really on the backburner. I do go back to Beta fics often, but the amount of progress made there is rather lacking in comparison. Beta fics are also plot bunnies that just sort of got out of hand. Beta fics also have to possibility of being rewritten at any given moment and turned into an Alpha fic -- it literally happens all the time.

Hopefully, this is a system that will work for all of us. I know a lot of you really like my writing, so here's hoping you're satisfied with a bit more of it -- even if it's unfinished.

As It Should Be - Harry/Hermione romantic drama with a healthy dose of comedy

Child Bride - Sirius/Hermione time travel with baby Harry set in the early 80's

A Greater Purpose - Thorfinn/Hermione set during an extended version of the war. Hermione and Thorfinn are ex-lovers and newly married through a freak magical incident -- despite the fact that they're on opposite sides of the war. The story begins when Hermione steals a magical artifact from Thorfinn. This story is MAD AU. It's got some heavy plot, loads of Thorfinn/Hermione goodness, and will also involve a rather diverse cast of characters.

Beta Fics

Shadow World - Harry/Hermione AU travel with light time travel, set in the Marauders era. EPIC adventure plot with new magical powers. Featuring Super!Harry

According to Plan - Sirius/Hermione set in the 80's (but no time travel, Hermione born in Marauders era) featuring Genius!Hermione and MagicalProdigy!Hermione. War, love, drama. It's got it all.

Prophecy Child - James/Hermione time-travel AU in which Hermione royally messes with the timeline by sleeping with James Potter. It was already messed up before that, but it really didn't make the situation better.

Complete Fics

Family Plans - Harry/Hermione postwar, eighth year fic that features the fun little trope of a ministry made Parenting Class. But things are not as simple as a normal parenting class. Harry and Hermione aren't about to hold their breath on the ministry's "good intentions."
