Author has written 17 stories for Law and Order: CI, Closer, Law and Order: SVU, Law and Order, CSI: Miami, Harper's Island, and CSI.
Like most people who fancy themselves to be writers, I've let life get in the way of writing. For years I've dreamt of writing books and screenplays and actually have a lot of drafts but I can't seem to complete anything to my satisfaction. I'm using this forum to practice the craft and remind myself how much I enjoy writing.
I mostly enjoy creating original characters. However, since I happened upon this particular website in early 2007 (the reason some of you are just now getting a review from me on a story you posted years ago), I see how much fun it is to plop already established characters into a situation of your own choosing and then see how they handle it. If anyone knows of other websites such as this, please let me know.
My favorite shows are The Closer, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI, and CSI: Miami. I used to like Criminal Intent but it is boring me lately (even with the addition of Goldblum).
Until recently I hadn't really ever watched a whole episode of the original Law & Order because I didn't enjoy the courtroom scenes. However, after recently watching a few episodes of the original I think the original is better than the spin-offs. I most definitely will have to write a few L&O fanfics.
I hate it when people read your stories or put your story in their favorites but don't bother to post a review. I try and review each story I read. As a writer, I understand the desire for feedback, especially since the readers are fans of the shows.
I don't like to read fanfics that copy almost verbatim from an episode. I don't understand the point of this. We know what's going to happen.
Of course I don't own any of these characters. However, until I'm contacted by the folks of my favorite shows to write an episode (or two), I will allow these characters to roam around in my imagination because I can't wait to see what they will do next!
