I love watching TV shows and some of my absolute favourite shows to date include Dexter, Breaking Bad, Hannibal, Modern Family, Death Note and House of the Dragon.

I love to read and my all-time favourite books are the Harry Potter series. I like reading & (occasionally) writing fanfiction in the Harry Potter Universe.

Fics that I enjoy reading:

I particularly enjoy reading stories about Severus Snape. Snape was one of my absolute favourite characters from the series and stories which accurately portray him in accordance to canon are a joy to read.

I have always been fascinated by the idea of Snape and Harry reconciling (non-slash) where Snape finally sees Harry for who he really is, and acknowledges that he isn't just a carbon copy of his father whilst Harry learns to trust and respect Snape.

I am pedantic about this needing to be done in a way that is realistic and not cringeworthy and fully appreciate the difficulties of this endeavour. Many writers have achieved this extraordinary feat and I would really like to also write one of my own, one day, if I have an original enough idea.

I would also like to read more fics about Snape's background, childhood, life choices, friendship with Lily, as well as his interactions with the Marauders whilst they were all at Hogwarts.

I have spent so many glorious hours on Fanfiction.net, reading some truly amazing & unforgettable stories by some very talented writers. Thank you to all the writers who have engaged me for hours and have made me so very happy with their captivating stories!

I have written two stories so far: The Bravest Man I Ever Knew, which is a one shot about Harry visiting Snape's portrait after the war and To Not Show Weakness, which was going to be about Harry dealing with Sirius's death and possibly bonding with Snape as well as Dumbledore, but which has regrettably been abandoned.

My apologies for abandoning my story, To Not Show Weakness. I had always intended to return to it but it has been a decade or so since I began writing the story.

I was quite young when I started writing this story and I do not feel like I am able to return to it as my thought processes have changed over the years, as has my writing style and my feelings about how I would like to portray the characters. It was a very busy decade for me and I was not able to spend as much time reading and writing stories as I would have liked.

I am glad to know that my readers enjoyed reading the story though and this will likely inspire me to write more stories in the future.

I feel awful for disappointing anyone who read my story and was truly interested in following it further. It is not something I wish to repeat in the future. In future, I fully intend to post stories only if I will definitely finish them as I know all too well how disappointing it is when a story is left unfinished.

I have recently reread the Harry Potter series and have been thinking of new story ideas. I am looking forward to writing some more stories in the near future.

I am a perfectionist though, so I tend to feel hesitant to post any stories online unless I am completely happy with them, and this is of course a rare thing among us people who are perfectionists!
