I know it's common nowadays to claim to be a geek, so some people pay it lipservice... and I'm no different. I was a geek before it was cool! I was alphabetizing my CD's when I was in elementary school! I translate Celine Dion lyrics in my spare time! I actually like watching PBS!
My original fanfiction interests lie in the Joss Whedon-verse (that is to say, Buffy and Angel), with which I have an annoying one-liner-quoting, drive-your-friends-nuts familiarity. And I'm a major Spuffy advocate, by the way, even though my fanfiction thus far does not reflect it. I'm also into Bones, and I've dabbled in the fanfiction side of it.
About a decade ago, I branched out in a BIG WAY into Doctor Who and a rather unhealthy David Tennant fixation. I've even seen Secret Smile and still like him. Personally, I'm a Martha Jones fan, and most of my fics advocate for her!
Okay, so for those of you who are (or aren't) keeping track, the weird progression of my continuation stories goes as follows:
Benevolence into The Love Doctor (Doctor Who)
Shades of Blue into Feral into Miss Obeng into Elementary (Doctor Who)
Not Better, Just Different into Little Angels (Doctor Who)
Theatre of Nightmares into Jukebox of Regret into Tracks of Emptiness into Notes of Revelation, into Adventures In Vengeance into Sounds of Change (Doctor Who)
Things We Weren't Meant To Know into Dress Code (see also Fear, in this series) into Portrait of Time into Twelve Sacrifices (Doctor Who)
Fail Safe into The Window on the Left into Something Big In Las Vegas (Doctor Who)
Keeping With the Enemy into An Oxbow In Time into Hearts of Calm(Doctor Who)
Days To Come into The Third Domain (Good Omens)
All others can be considered as stand-alones. And please be aware that a "continuation" of a story is a story in its own right, so you do not necessarily need the previous story or stories in order to understand... but it might help!
Thanks - and enjoy your foray into fan fiction!
