I'm a nerd with a love of old books, writing, calligraphy pens (still practicing the actual writing part), comic books, cats, manga, BBC America, traveling. I need to go back to Ireland and Britain. badly. Specifically, I miss Dublin, Galway, Killarney, Cardiff, Bath, and London. As far as Japan goes, Tokyo is its own country, and a month there wouldn't scratch the surface, but I love it, Osaka, the rivers in Nikko... we went to everywhere on Honshu a train runs, basically, and want to visit Hokkaido this year. We're always planning something. Last Christmas it was the Bahamas.

I have far too many opinions.

Bio:

I live in NYC, but grew up in the Midwest and spent a few years on the East Coast/New England. In the past I've waited tables, restored/shelved/inventoried/cleaned/sold antiquarian and used books, folded and bagged Levi's at the 34th Street Macy's, volunteered at shelters, and have done a lot of community theatre (a few silly skits from IFC and Spanglish productions are floating around out there from more recent days, and a TV pilot that seems to have disappeared into the void - I'm okay with that, they are fun days while filming; something to do that reminds me of back home). I am a perpetual college student, from the Wayne State University Honors College to the City University of New York, I just kind of like being on a campus (I did say I was a nerd).
