Time passes much more quickly for Elves than for mortals, and sensing that his dear friend's life is approaching its end Legolas is reluctant to part from him. Even to attend a festival and see Gandalf's fireworks. (Chapter Three has been edited and fixed from the first posting because it cut off the last 8 or so lines. I don't know why.)

A letter given from the last Elven King west of the sea to a dwarf on the day of the dwarfs departure across the sea.

"I knew how much Legolas always hated when his father had to leave, especially when he saw others preparing armor and weapons. "

If he were a more romantic man, he might have found the poetry through the tragedy, that human beings were nothing but stardust kicked into motion by a cataclysmic event. But he is not romantic, he is painfully pragmatic. It was not stardust that coated his hands and his face, but human remains.

Tony Stark has faced kidnappers before. He may only be four years old, but his new friends are strong and brave, and together they can take on any monster…even the ones that come from within. And oddly enough, this is not an AU. Coulson probably wishes it were.

Legolas returns to Greenwood one last time to tell his father that Aragorn has passed and he is sailing to Valinor.

"Estel gave a small twitch in his sleep and Elrond smiled, "Fear not, we will never lose hope." Elrond suspicions of the darkness in Mirkwood are finally confirmed when Legolas and friends visit for the first time in many years.

He could not recall what route they had taken home, nor how long it took them to get here. He sat numbly on his horse, staring forward. Wallowing in the cloud of silence and grief that had descended on his patrol. Just doing his best to remember how to breath. ( No character death, very slight romance)

Sometimes the best thing you can do for those you love is to leave them. Aragorn must find the strength to say goodbye. Written for Teitho. Prompt: Trust.

Or, that time Cal lit Sophia's drapes on fire. Kid!fic. Six year old Cal knows that he's not supposed to touch the matches. Niko's told him a ton of times. But when he finds them, he just can't resist. Thankfully, Nik comes home in time to rescue him...and then light a fire of his own on poor Cal's backside. Warnings: Spanking, language, etc.

"I can't see the stars," she whispers to Father. It isn't logical to want, but Mom always says she loves Father's and Amanda's illogical parts the best. "I want to go back home."

For as long as Spock could cohesively remember his mother had always celebrated inexplicable occasions. Five times Amanda attempted to celebrate Earth holidays with Sarek and Spock, and the one time they surprised her. Sarek/Amanda Spock Fluff.
