Author has written 21 stories for Naruto, Chronicles of Narnia, and Cirque du Soleil.
My former pen name was AnimeOtaku31821. If you're looking for the stories I wrote under that name, they're all still here. Though I am strongly tempted to delete all of the writing I feel is "inferior."
Name: Call me Rizu
Age: Guess :D
Hobbies: Playing in the SCA, fencing, writing.
Quotes: I know there are profiles that go on forever and a day since they're cluttered with quotes so I'll try and it keep it down to five or less.
“I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -- myth is more potent than history -- dreams are more powerful than facts -- hope always triumphs over experience -- laughter is the cure for grief -- love is stronger than death.” -Robert Fulghum, The Storyteller's Creed
“As long as people are going to call you a lunatic, why not get the benefit of it? It liberates you from convention.” –Elphaba, Wicked
"I'm the evil mastermind behind the scenes. I'm the wicked puppeteer who pulls the strings and makes you dance. I'm your writer."—Grant Morrison
Beta-ing: I am quite willing to be a beta if someone decides to let me read their work- contact me through e-mail or the Beta Reader system. I'm currently a beta for Inuluvr, rose-of-alabaster, elizabet639, Morningtheft, TheBareFootBandit, Serenarey Chibi, Bianca Chang and...I think that's it. At the moment. Apologies if I forgot about someone.
Betas: My current betas are Inuluvr, rose-of-alabaster, elizabet639 and probably a few others...sorry if I forgot you! My betaing relationships are mostly reciprocal- I beta for them and they beta for me. Much loves to all of them!
Reviews and Alerts: Whenever you review or alert, it makes me feel like I'm on top of the world. Constructive criticism is also adored. I honestly want to improve my writing and you can only help me in that regard.
Flames: Flames are ignored. You might not like my work, however someone else might. So I won't stop writing no matter how much you insult me. The back button is usually located in the upper left corner of your screen. Feel free to use it.
Regarding Wandering Fox: This story has been adopted by maliekal tharakan.
Regarding Kooza: I have taken the basic premise/plot/characters/what-have-you of Kooza and created an extensive world out of it with developed characters. During this I’ve chosen to ignore to some of the canon aspects- Little ones, but ones that have a large impact. Those interested in knowing exactly what I’ve discarded and my source material can contact me with a private message. I will try to explain my reasons in my author’s notes as I post the stories but due to a personal policy of keeping my author’s notes short, the explanations might not be as thorough as I could make them. Again, you can contact me with questions through private messaging. Talking about how I built up this world is one of my favorite things to do and will be glad to explain. However, this is not an invitation to flame me [see above].
Timeline: The largest canon event within my Koozaverse is Cyrus "summoning" Athanasius and his ilk. This forms the basis for the timeline within the show:
Pre-Athanasius refers to the first half of the show, before Cyrus gets his hands on Sarkan's scepter.
Pre-show and Post-show are stories dealing with anything either before or after the events of Kooza.
Names (Grouped by affiliation. The meanings of the names came from Behind the Name.)
Sarkan [The Trickster: Male derivative of Sarka. Meaning unknown. In Czech legend Šárka was a maiden who joined other women in declaring war upon men. She tricked the men by having herself tied to a tree, and, after they came to her rescue, offering them mead laced with a sleeping potion. After the men fell asleep the other women slew them.
Athanasius [Lord Death: From the Greek name Αθανασιος (Athanasios), which meant "immortal" from Greek α, a negative prefix, combined with θανατος (thanatos) "death".
Sarkan's Bindings (The actual bindings are written more formally, this is just so I can keep track of them all.)
Spine: Sarkan can't interfere with Death. Since Athanasius is the "local" Reaper, this means no messing in any of Athanasius's affairs. If another Reaper is around, it applies to them as well. However since Athanasius is the one who bound Sarkan, "affairs" can mean anything he wants. Athanasius abuses this privilege whenever he can. Sarkan stays in Kooza for some good reasons, among them is that Athanasius can't get in.
