Author has written 8 stories for New Jedi Order.
Forging the Future(25 ABY), two story-arcs finished, third story arc finished! (tbp in August):
The Yuuzhan Vong War was only just beginning, Sernpidal and Ithor were just the start. Desperate to have their son learn the skills needed to survive an inter-galactic war, Tyria Sarkin Tainer and Kell Tainer make arrangements to send their only child to Gargon, a Mandalorian world. There he will learn more about himself than ever before and how he will survive in a galaxy rapidly falling to pieces. He'll make new friends, new enemies, and be tested in ways his previous adventures never could. This is the tale of Doran Sarkin Tainer's year in a Mandalorian Protector training camp.
Spawned by a plot-bunny from aDA that wouldn't go away even after I abandoned the project, the story covers that year with the Mandos that Doran alludes to in aDA and will show how he befriended Jintar and Dinua. Will be modular in nature so if the bunny strikes again I will be adding another story arc.
Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars, it's Disney's.
A Destiny Altered (27-29 ABY)
In corrupting a regret-filled Tahiri Veila, Darth Caedus makes one crucial mistake. It is not he who controls the past, present, or the future, but the Force. Just as there are many possible futures, so too are there many paths to reach each possibility. How much difference does one kiss truly make?
AU, another take on the Yuuzhan Vong War if Anakin Solo had survived. Will cover the second half of the NJO series. While there will be Anakin/Tahiri present and playing major roles in this story, this story will not focus entirely on them.
Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars. In addition, the New Jedi Order and X-Wing/Wraith Squadron series, and any lines in this story borrowed from these books, belongs to Lucas Books/Del Rey. I do this for fun, not profit.
Caught Between Destiny and Fate (29-36 ABY):
The Yuuzhan Vong War is over, but what now? How does one pick up the pieces of a shattered galaxy? How does one live a normal life after fighting for so long? Just because the heroes of the war got their happy endings doesn't mean everyone is as lucky.
A collection of fish-sized one-shots that take place between aDA and aFU meant to give snap-shots into my little universe after the war. Will not focus on the major characters (Solos, Skywalkers, and the 'heroes'), but on lesser known characters who appeared in aDA or will appear in aFU (their intro so to speak). The story will range from immediately after the war all the way up until 36 ABY.
A drama/action/adventure story.
Same disclaimer as above
A Fate Unseen trilogy, in the planning/ early writing stage:
A continuation of my AU EU NJO universe which will see plot ideas from the Dark Nest and Legacy eras, but will not follow canon even remotely to what was seen in A Destiny Altered.
A romance/action/drama story.
A Fate Unseen: Swarm War (36-37 ABY) - From out of the shadows they strike. Chaos, the quenching of the light, their sole purpose. They fear neither death nor pain, wanting only conflict. For a galaxy only just recovering after an intergalactic war, the actions of the Colony may be its death knell. Scattered and scarred, the survivors of the Yuuzhan Vong War once again find themselves fighting in a fracture galaxy; this time against an unseen enemy for a peace they thought they had won seven years ago. For them to succeed, the pillars of the Jedi Order will need to once again redefine what it means to be Jedi in the eyes of both the galaxy, and the Jedi Order. Only then will the galaxy be able to survive the Swarm War.
Fate's Betrayal (39 ABY) fish-sized one-shot - Following up on the death of his master, Jacen Solo and his brother take their apprentices to an asteroid where they learn that some fates cannot be avoided. Will Caedus rise again, or has destiny been altered so another Solo takes his place? Always in motion the future is...
Of War and Legacies (42.5 ABY) Five chapters- What a mess! Ben Skywalker has just passed his Jedi Knight trials and is landed with what appeared to be an easy first assignment. Of course, him being a Skywalker and a Jedi means nothing is ever simple. Between power-hungry despots, billions of starving refugees, and a seemingly impossible job of making everyone happy, Ben has his hands full. Of course, let's not forget the mysterious circular ship that appears to have come from nowhere and drops a bunch of red-bladed fiends into the mix. The intergalactic wars might be over, but it's their legacies that Ben has to deal with. Thanks a lot mom and dad!
A Fate Unseen: Legacy of the Jedi (44-46 ABY) Writing in progress. As of May, this will actually be split into two separate, simultaneously posted stories. I'm working with over seven different sub-plots and to cram them all into one story kind of ruined the flow. Depending on how the story goes, I'm estimating that each part of this part of the trilogy will have no fewer than 40 chapters- There can be no light without the dark, no desire without passion, no Jedi without Sith. There is the Jedi Order, weakened by a decade of conflict. There is the One Sith, strengthened by chaos. There is the Lost Tribe, waiting for its chance to return and let loose upon the galaxy ambitions nursed for thousands of years. And then there are the Solos and Skywalkers of the galaxy, who will learn the price needed to be paid to ensure that the Force truly remains in balance. Can one give up everything and everyone he ever cared for for the the good of the galaxy? Can one sacrifice his heart, so that peace can finally be achieved? But most importantly, will it be worth it?
A Fate Unseen: Fate of the Jedi (starts around 47 ABY, subject to change) - After years of conflict, the galaxy is finally given a respite. But the peace won't last long. Something stirs within the depths of the Maw, the silver-eyed dreamer slumbers no more. Awakened by the destruction of the Maw Station and Centerpoint, fed by the deaths of billions, the very embodiment of the dark side of the Force has returned. Both Sith and Jedi will need to put aside their differences if they hope to survive. As yesterday's foe becomes a desperately needed friend, at the end of it all, one Solo will discover his fate; and forever will the Jedi Order be changed.
Same disclaimer as above...
Hapan Knight of Ultimate Stamina (around 138 ABY) Fish-sized story (18k words)- Ever wonder how the heroes of the New Jedi Order would be remembered by future generations? I mean, they did save the galaxy from certain doom several times over. Well, little did Zekk know that by becoming involved with the Royal Family of Hapes, he'd be immortalized in a way he probably didn't expect. The future generation of the Skywalker-line gathers around the holo-projector to watch a vid 'based on true events' about those dark times a hundred years earlier. See how history remembers one Jedi Master Zekk, personal guardian of the Royal House of Zel.
Please blame Darksabre for this particular plotbunny, her latest review spawned it and I couldn't get it out of my head. A day later and in a single afternoon, I'm already 5k words into it. As you can probably guess from the summary/title this is meant to be a lighthearted, rated-T, don't-take-too-seriously story, and will probably utilize a bunch of action-movie tropes just for the fun of it. It will contain teaser spoilers for what I have planned for the rest of the Fate Unseen trilogy though =).
Denon Night of Ultimate Enigma (around 138 ABY) Fish-sized story and companion piece to the above silliness (Done at around 20k words)- Some heroes fall by the wayside in history, others are immortalized. In the Legacy Wars Jagged Fel made a promise to a certain Twi'lek fallen Jedi that the galaxy would never forget the good she tried to do. Fast-forward a hundred years and the future generations have grown up learning everything there is to know about her. But not in a classroom, that just wouldn't be her style. Join the future members of the Skywalker-Solo line as they watch one of the dozens of holo-movies cataloging the (possibly true) adventures of the Jedi Order's most famous secret agent. Her name? Rar, Alema Rar.
And this plotbunny can be blamed on SiouxFan/Colokid ever since he left that review in the epilogue of aDA. Thanks to that, I can't get this plotbunny out of my head. Like its companion piece, this really isn't meant to be taken seriously, but it will have spoilers for what I have planned for my little universe. Those familiar with the Bond-verse will no doubt recognize various aspects lifted from said universe...you have been warned in advance =).
Korriban Night of Ultimate Remembrance (Around 138 ABY) Fish-sized story and 'last' of the Ultimate series (Done at over 20k words, tbp in August)- Legends are something built on over time. Sometimes they become larger than life, feats going from improbable to impossible. The subject becoming godlike even. Sometimes the legend grows even when the subject hadn't intended to become a legend at all. Giving his life during the Yuuzhan Vong War, Ganner Rhysode would never have thought that his sacrifice would be remembered for anything. After all, billions died in the war and he was just one more person. Yet, he died a true hero at the end. For all his grandstanding and self doubt, even over a century later, the name of Ganner Rhysode lives on...and so does his bloodline. Now his great, great grandson has stepped up to the plate as a battle for the balance of the Force nears. The spirit of Ganner Rhysode lives on and in more ways than one.
Spawned because Ganner's role in aDA was expanded a lot more and I ended up liking his character tons. This story is actually a bit more serious in that there are no parodies involved and will contain a big spoiler at the end for what I have planned for my Fish-universe. Split between my aDA Battle for Palanhi in 27 ABY and my 'Ultimate-verse' Dark Council plot, this fills in a little more of what I had envisioned for Ganner's character as well a what I have planned for the future of my little Star Wars sandbox.
