Author has written 2 stories for Prince of Tennis.
Hello! Thank you to those of you who have reviewed, favorited, and alerted my stories. It really touches me that people are willing to give my stories a chance even if I'm a horrid, lazy writer who irresponsibly took a 3 (nearly 4) year hiatus from my stories.
For the Love of Danger, (henceforth FTLD) is my primary interest as of right now. I was thinking of deleting Who Can Make Me Smile, because I'm not feeling an inspiration towards it and frankly, the quality of writing makes me cringe. But I hate it when authors delete their own stories that I like, so until I am able to rewrite it, WCMMS will remain as it is.
I've taken down all of FTLD and am beginning to rewrite it. The basic premise will remain the same, but the writing will hopefully be much better and the plot more fleshed out. I've gotten some more experience with original fiction as well, so some OCs may begin to come into play.
Hey, so..it's been 3 years. I am a massive failure. Well, I'm about to start university next fall, so this summer I should have time. I'm more interested in working on For the Love of Danger, maybe because my writing tastes have changed. In any case, those of you who have stuck around or kept me in the backs of your minds...thanks and look forward to more.
i figured i'd brace myself and try to add more.
i'm not abandoning any stories...but i'm sorry i take ages to update...
Hello there, lovely folks. I'm flattered that you have ended up on my profile page. Although I find myself wondering about the point in an author's bio, I myself am often very curious about the authors of other stories that I read. With that in mind, here goes:
When I first started on FF.net, I was an immature writer who was too eager to get a story "published" and too proud to properly proofread. In other words, I was an idiot. Hopefully, in the years of my hiatus, I've grown enough both mentally and with regard to my writing skill to do justice to a story.
I will always take constructive criticism. I'm sensitive and proud, so I can't say I'll take it well--there will be some gritting of teeth and unfair aspersions mentally cast upon the daring soul who gave it--but I will never lash out or call out someone who gave good criticism. Haters on the other hand...are fair game.
I am prone to wordiness and flowery language. I apologize in advance. However, that's kind of my style..so unless it's detracting from a story or a character, I'll ask that you please refrain from scolding me. I too have taken Storywriting 101, and if I had a nickel for every time my professor nagged me for my overly long and ornate sentences, I would be a rich person. Very rich. My writing style is masculine in that I prefer not to write emotional or romantic scenes, but feminine in that I like details and flowery language.
Note: I am not a fan of romance. That may seem odd, given that my first story was intended to be a romance. However, times have changed and I find myself highly averse to romance. There may be hints of seduction, of sensuality, but romance--in particular, relationship-romance--is not likely to play a role in my writing as of now.
Lastly, thank you so much to the reviewers and readers who have favorited, reviewed, and alerted my stories. They are so encouraging, you have no idea. Even when I was busy writing crappy fiction and emo, self-pitying author's notes, you offered your ideas and criticisms and even said that the story was good! I hope I can repay you with a good story (:
