Author has written 12 stories for One Piece. December 2008: Update Sorry everyone. I went off the radar for a LONG while. Sorry. I am NOT ignoring anyone, or my writing, on purpose...just dealing with 'real-life' things right now. Where have I been? Unfortunately, after a long period of accompanying my dad as he went into, and out of, hospitals...he passed. After that, I just didn't feel the urge to write anything. (Plus, it did not help when OP went off the air, and the release of the new Funimation DVDs is dragging on FOREVER). It's hard to feel the lighter side of life, when everything sucks so royally. I'm not going for a pity-fest, I'm just letting you guys know where my mind is at right now. Fortunately, or unfortunately, during the last few months, I got hooked on the TV show, Numb3rs. (Which I love, but I don't think I could have dealt with when my dad was ill--because a large chunk of the series dealt with the loss of a parent. Hey, it's a form of catharsis and therapy for me...) Eventually, I hope to get back into my writing groove, so that I can finally finish the open stories. However, until I can get a good grasp of them (again), I'm going to try and stay away from the stories. Sorry. So, until then... Here's wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanzaa, and a Happy and Prosperous New Year!! back to pre-posted stuff Wow! A lot of people like to type out their favorite type of music, movies and television shows. While I would really like to be able to do that, but I'm afraid that I would just run out of space. There is just not enough space to fill in all the musicians, singers, bands, movies or television shows that I love to spend time indulging in... However, in no particular order or sense...I really enjoyed watching One Piece (especially Sanji, Zoro and Luffy), Black Cat (Sven), Kikaida (Sorry, I know the spelling is wrong, but I grew up calling it that--LOL!!), Kamenrider V-3Alias Smith and Jones (though I haven't watched it recently), Bleach, Simon and Simon, the Wild, Wild West (love Artemus Gordon!), the Man From U.N.C.L.E., Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, the Tomorrow People (the original and the remake), Inspector Morse, Life on Mars, Miracles (ABC should have given it more of chance!), the Sentinel (of course), Stargate SG-1, Alien Nation, Checkers and Pogo (if you know this one, my straw-hat's off to you...or should I say feathered-hat?), Wire in the Blood, Heaven Cannot Wait (a.ka. Man Closest to Heaven), Get Smart (really miss Don Adams...wonderful actor and vocal talent--Tennessee Tuxedo and Inspector Gadget), the Real Ghostbusters (miss Lorenzo Music's voice, too--Garfield), G.I. Joe (watched specifically for "Lifeline"--Stan Wojno, another vocal talent who will be missed), Winter Sonata, Daughters and Sisters (or was it Sisters and Daughters?), This is David Landers...Darn it. See? That's what happens when I start to list things that I like...it just doesn't stop!! (And there are MANY, MANY MORE that should be listed...) So, you can imagine my music list...when I listen to everything from 30 Seconds to Mars, to ABBA, to A.F.I., to a whole bunch of songs from various different animes, to Bobby Darin, to Freddie Fender, to Green Day, to the Hoopii Brothers, to Israel Kamakawiwoole, to Loyal Garner, to Marilyn Manson, to Marty Robbins, to My Chemical Romance, to Scissors Sisters, to Three Days Grace...Okay, gotta stop. I'm doing it again... (There's a lot more, trust me...) I'm not even going to touch my favorite movie catagory... I'll just say this, I've been reading quite a bit of fanfiction recently, pertaining to my favorite blonde cook and green-headed swordsman. And a whole bunch of yaoi as a result...LOL!! Thanks for reading this! Mahalo! |
