hello world! it's nice to - figuratively speaking - meet you all :) so for privacy purposes, my name is natrissabelladonis, but you can call me...well, whatever you would like. this, as you know, is my fanfiction page. all the stories and works i post here are very personal to me - some more than others - and i love hearing feedback on what i've done well, and most especially, on what i can improve. sometimes, i might put random bits of writing up here, just for kicks. i'm open to talking to anyone, so if you want to request a fic or just say hi, you can pm me, or contact me at distancexgrl @ hotmail .com and i will try to answer all questions or the like to the best of my ability. also, if you do request a fic, if you could just leave your account name or such, and give a brief overview of the characters or story (in case i have never seen or read it before) that would be great :)
writing is like putting a piece of your soul on display for the world to see. it's scary, and sometimes painful, and sometimes you just want to curl in a ball and hide from the doubt and the what ifs and you think oh god why did i put that out there no one will like it why was i so stupid why why why why why -
but sometimes it is something beautiful. when someone comments or reviews, and you just sit there and think 'wow. someone likes what i do. someone cares enough to let me know they see me'. because that's what writing is, to some. it's a way of life, a passion that never dies, but its also a cry to the world - see me, hear me, this is what i have to say, please stand up an acknowledge me and my faults and help me improve.
there will always be people who try to bring you down, who hate your writing just for the sake of hating it. but its those many reviews that shine and glitter and are oh so beautiful that make every writer's day.
it’s cold. but it isn’t the cold where you feel a chill run down your spine and the tips of your toes tingle and are at those beginning stages of ache. this cold is bone deep, skin deep, soul deep. it bites at your fingers and those pleasant-yet-annoying first tingles give way to an agony that feels like it will never leave. your teeth chatter, your hands spasm, your toes curl and you feel like your stomach has dropped through your toes, falling downdowndown through the floor, dropping away forever. your breath freezes in your throat and iron bars clamp over your chest until all you can do is cough and cough out clouds of ice.
it is cold that strips you of your thoughts and your soul and leaves you barren. you can’t feel anything; not happiness, not joy, not anger, not fear... just aching, numbing despair from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. it is cold that drives you to your knees, bent over in agony, screaming and screaming and clawing at your skin to just feel something and crying out even though no one will listen to make everything go away and just -
loving someone and being in love with someone are two very different things. to love someone is to care deeply; to never want to see them hurt, to pick them up when they fall and to lean on them when you can go no further alone. its the warm glow of the sun and the smell of spring in the air. it's quiet and peaceful and safe. being in love with someone is all this and more. it is beautiful and terrifying and powerful all at once - like a fire in the dead of summer that just keeps on burning long after it should have gone out. it is loving someone so much that it physically hurts. it is loving every part of them. it is getting mad and refusing to let them get away with hurting you, but it is also forgiving them easily because they mean their apology and you don't want to stay mad at them.
it is best friends and team mates and training partners and study partners and someone who completes you without overshadowing you with their personality. it is seeing them and all their flaws and thinking they are beautiful. it is quiet conversations and secret looks when you think no one is watching. it is inside jokes that no one really gets and the warmth of their arm resting around your shoulders and sending butterflies to bloom in your stomach like the first tentative flowers of spring.
it is endless and forever, imprints of memories that will stay with you long after they are gone.

"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."
