Hello and welcome to the lair of a girl stuck doing uni work (if that's not a warning about WIP updates, well, now you know you've been warned). I'm one who writes simply for pleasure's sake.
Music and singing are my lifelines. There's hardly a day without a song or two listened to and sung. And oh yeah, I was probably born in the wrong era. I breathe the classics; I listen to old songs more than I listen to new ones; I watch age-old movies that not even my parents have seen; and I adore old-couple romances!
Julie Andrews is my drug, my muse, and the love of my life. I have been a fan for quite some time and I must say that life's never been better! The reason I started writing was because of her, really, so I guess it's no surprise when you read my stories. I also read stories from a couple of fanficdoms, but my OTP is Clarisse/Joseph all the way. I will probably try to write something that's not PD someday, but I'm perfectly fine with my royal couple, no complaints. ;)
Here's to shameless plugging and special mentions! I am a proud member of the Julie Andrews Online Forum, too! If you're taking the Julie drug and you'd like more, this is the perfect place to go to. ;)
I've been really engrossed in Naruto lately, so I might just start writing Naruto fanfiction soon! Isn't it great? I never really liked anime before -- er, I still don't, not as much anyway, but I guess Naruto is an exception (I wonder why?). It's the only anime I watch. Not that anime is bad, no no no, it just never caught me. :D
I absolutely love Tsunade and I absolutely adore Jiraiya/Tsunade. I don't care what people think, I just know they're perfect for each other. No mushy stuff, just pure, unadulterated, genuine friendship and love (...er, plus perversion). I have this huge thing for Kakashi/Sakura, too! Very yummy pairing, albeit definitely non-canon. Believe me, these fanfics stir deep waters and will be the death of me... but it will be a very yummy death... ;)
Do drop a review or two if you read my stories! I'd really appreciate it, because, as a friend had put it... "If poetry be the language of love, reviews are equivalent to a friendly back rub." *grin
