So fanfiction has changed their notification settings, and you wont get email notifications unless you make sure your account enables them (Thank you Zancrowe for the heads up!)

Go to your Account, and at the very top make sure the "Email Opt-In" feature is turned on and don't forget to "Save/update" this feature at the bottom. If you don't save it then it will revert back to off and you'll never get any email notifications.

About ME:

I love to read well written work that pays true homage to the original works where it can, whether it's an alternate universe or canon setting. I have three stories up for the Naruto universe and while two are complete, one is still in-progress and they are all tied together.

I believe that's the true essence of fanfiction: taking characters and worlds we love, preserving their integrity as best we can and just simply writing our own versions of "what if's?". Those are the best stories in my opinion. So may writers on this site are amazing at this! Giada Luna, Zancrowe, HRH-The-Otaku-Queen, Mslead, LoneStorm, Mooifyou'recows, MissyPlatina etc. They're all on my favorites list so check them out for awesomeness that will set the bar!

And I'm putting this back up here because I didn't have take it down in the first place: I do NOT read crack fics. Crack fics being badly written stories without a plot and serious madness with extreme ooc. For example, Gaara chasing Barney the dinosaur through the woods. That's a crack fic and I say no thank you to literary butchery. Moving right along :)

This is as far as reading goes.

Writing and reviewing are the next big things. I believe that all reviews are welcome because we are all entitled to our opinions.

Flames are what they are but if you truly love a story, you should make the writers day by telling them what you love or enjoyed about their writing.

Detailed feedback are what we crave and not only encourage us to continue writing, but help us improve and push ourselves to do our best.

There is no such things as a review that's too long. But the biggest thing writers must do is acknowledge the original creator of the work. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS Acknowledge the creator of the work such as Masashi Kishimoto who created the mega awesomeness that is Naruto! Honoring the real authors is a must in the fanfiction universe!
