I've realized I tend to lean towards angst in fan fiction. The angst can lead to one of two endings for the story; some kind of comfort or realization (the best example being "Take These Broken Wings"), or just a big black hole of angst (my "Insanity" story is a good example). I'm really not that angsty in real life-I just wind up writing about it a lot. But that doesn't mean I can't write fluff; in fact, I enjoy doing so. My writing just tends to lean to the darker side. I also really love writing for romance. I'm a hopeless romantic in many ways. That being said, I can sway from writing total fluff romance to the much darker kind. It just really depends what mood I'm in.
I usually write one-shots. I don't think I've ever written more than six chapters for a story before. I don't know if this is because of my laziness or lack of time or failage of developing a story over a long period of time, but one-shots are what I love to write. I also almost never use OCs in my stories, though I might take a shot at it one day. I'm more interested in developing or exploring the psychology of characters that already exist, or divulging into the relationship between two characters. I like making my own interpretation or guessing the deeper meaning of something that's already there.
My major weakness is my editing. I sincerely apologize to the Grammar and Spelling nit-picks who read my stories. I do have an excuse for my terrible use of vocabulary and grammar (a fun thing called "dyslexia"), but I really try my best to edit my stories to the best condition possible. However, mistakes tend to slip through. So if anyone is in the mood for being my beta-reader, I would deeply appreciate it.
I love reviews. As much as I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream-which is a hell of a lot. So if you've stumbled across one of my stories, please take the time to write a review. It doesn't have to be long-I just like to know what my work is being appreciated. I'm writing these for you guys. Well, I'm also writing to emote a bit, but I wouldn't be on here if I wasn't writing stuff I hope other people would read and enjoy. Also, if you review, chances are I'll check out your channel and see what your stories are like, and probably leave my own review. So please, remember: reviews = love.
