Star Trek fanfic Update: 1/8/21 -With my DOH fanfic complete (Yay!) I am turning my attention to my ST fanfic to finish The Sacred Q'e.

A special thanks to Samuel G. Pengraff (pen name) for contributing not only the third chapter to The Sacred Q'e of Q'a'ta'Orbin (it was originally a Round Robin offering), but for providing the direction and I would eventually take the rest of the story beginning with Chapter Four. Note that if you read the original story on Ad Astra, it was posted as Caledonia. Since then, the first two chapters have been completely revamped and the title was changed. Sam's chapter three remains intact as he wrote it (with the exception of only a few minor references to day-countdown that are no longer relevant).

Secrets, Bittersweet Memories and Dolly Parton Goodbyes - Complete

Notice: I have edited and restructured Secrets with a new Prologue and Intermezzos - for an easier flow of the storyline - to replace the originally posted 2020 Edition as 2021 Rev Ed. (Complete), Upload of 2021 Edition through Chapter 45 (1-99 of 2020 Edition) has been completed. (Note: The 2020 Edition will no longer be available after January 15, 2021.)

I am working on a new DOH fanfic (still mostly in my head) for some time in 2021 - stay tuned.

Reading Halls of Stone and Iron and Story of Us, gave me the push I needed to post the DOH (Enos centric) story I had been working on for a long time. About me: I am an artist (watercolor and wall art), fledgling writer, crafter (I like to re-purpose useless stuff), and most recently - faerie gardener. I used to be a forensic accountant adjuster but recently said goodbye to that part of my life in favor of full-time writing - I am still rarely very far away from my computer but have a lot more fun at it now!!

Underdeveloped, sometimes misunderstood, characters are my favorite subject so I thought I would tackle Enos for my Dukes of Hazzard fanfic. And I have always thought Star Trek TOS Christine Chapel's character was given the short end of the stick.

I welcome constructive criticism and look forward to improving my writing skills (to apply to my original fiction) through fanfic. I am currently getting back to fanfic after a pretty long hiatus, no I mean like nine years!). When I write for Star Trek, it is usually short and allusory, so the approach on Secrets, Bittersweet Memories and Dolly Parton Goodbyes is a bit of a departure for me in both length and style. Although my current Star Trek story, The Sacred Q'e of Q'a'ta'Orbin, will end up being lengthy.

I love Star Trek (an original Trekkie) and usually write fanfic for TOS (for non-Trekkies, that's The Original Series) but also love the alternate new universe in recent movies as well. I can hardly wait for the new seasons of Star Trek: Discovery and Picard. I also loved Galaxy Quest and the series, The Orville.

Favorite Authors: Ayn Rand (everything, even the non-fiction philosophy), J.K. Rolling (even the darker stuff), Emily Dickinson, Jane Austin (but who doesn't), Orson Scott Card, Joy Ellis, Connie Willis, Rick Yancey, Kate Morton, John Scalzi... the list goes on and on.
