Author has written 7 stories for Phantom of the Opera.
I stumbled upon this website thanks to a PotO obsessed friend of mine back in 2006. I read and read for about a year or so until I built up the courage to publish something. I'm actually a playwright and lyricist and not so much a novel writer, so bear with me as I try and write lengthy descriptions that I would otherwise let the director, scenic, properties, light, and sound designers worry about. All reviews, good or bad are welcome. I want honest opinions as I always am ready to learn a thing or two more. As Ben Franklin said, "the critics are our friends, they show us our faults."
I write a lot of work inspired by Phantom Of The Opera. I guess it ought to be noted that all of my Christine's and Erik's differ according to the situation they're in. I know many authors on this site try to remain true to what they believe is the "true" character and pull and pluck these characters in and out of different situations. However, I believe that the only true characters are from Leroux. Think about it: Webber's Phantom is different from Leroux's Erik in many different ways due to different traits each character picked up in life that lead them to that moment. So, in all of my stories, the characters will differ according to the cards fate has handed them. Besides, isn't that the point of what a Fan Fiction is supposed to be?
Who am I? I guess you could say that answer has changed a bit since I first came to this site (*gasp*) ten years ago. In the decade I've been high school drama nerd, acting school aquarian, solo traveler, hostel manager, zombie wrangler, and now I own a small business in North Carolina where I live my dream of being a producer, playwright, actor, and secret fan fiction author...and if you've read this far, thanks for caring about this writer :)
Peace & Hope,
the yellow flower
I've been on here a while. Most of the time I have been in school. The earlier my work was published, the more choppy and grammatically incorrect it will be. And...I'm not entirely proud of the earlier stuff, but I can't seem to delete it either since some folks out there are still enjoying it... So if you do read it...well... You've been warned. Meh. If you want some of my most recent work (ie stuff I'm actually proud of), check out Madame Valerius Is Dead or Capital Intent :)
