Life Looks Better This Way...
If you've arrived here, then you've probably clicked the link from my Livejournal page, the Railway Arms, RGAS or the Facebook Group. So you're probably a Hustle fan anyway.
But in case you haven't, and you got here by accident, let's establish that Hustle is one of the great TV series. Great writing, great acting, great production. And only 36 episodes at time of writing. Just not enough Hustling in the world, IMHO.
So far I've published four stories on here.
The first is a Hustle prequel, Millennium, in which I give my interpretation of how the characters of Mickey, Albert, Stacey and Ash first came together as a group. I started off posting it over on my Livejournal, but the chapters are rather long and the whole thing took a while to write, so by posting it here too I gave people the chance to read each chapter as a stand-alone.
The second is a little Ash/Stacie One-Shot - flufffff!
The third, "Broken", has suffered a long hiatus due to my husband and I adopting a little girl and having a real life (!); the frantic pressure now having eased a little as we've all settl;ed in I'm back to writing and hope to have an update for the story very soon. Watch this space!
Finally there's a drabble, which is something I don't generally do, but one's never too old to learn a new skill, right?
As for me - I'm 41, a one-man woman, drama teacher, adoptive parent, lifelong Yorkshire person, Christian socialist, folk-singer, cross-stitcher, reader, fantasy/sci-fi geek, trainee computer geek, walker, fount of useless knowledge, cat-lover. Good at seeing the best in people. Seeeerious Robert Glenister devotee. One-time member of the Dr Who Appreciation Society (Peter Davison vintage). New Who watcher. Gene Hunt fan and proud member of Hunt's Housewives. First read The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe aged 6, and Watership Down and The Hobbit aged 8. Never looked back. I think that's all you need to know!
