In this story the Bennets have better connections. A compromise early in the Earl of Matlock's life led to a large age gap between Col. Fitzwilliam and his elder brother, the Viscount. The Viscount is of an age with Mr. Bennet. The friendship between the two led to a higher ranked godfather for Elizabeth. It is light hearted with little angst.

Elizabeth is given Netherfield and leases it to Bingley. How will this affect Darcy's attraction to her when he comes to stay with Bingley?

What if Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet had meet previously without knowing it? in this story Darcy meets Lizzy three times in her life before the Meryton Assembly.
