About Me 'N' Stuff:
Name: Masked-Writer-In-Disguise or Masked
Birthday: February 21
Star Sign: I'm a Pisces! Yay Fish!
Relationship Status: Taken.
Gender: Female...Yep...most yaoi writers usually are, if you hadn't noticed.
Personality: I like my music, I like my books. Give me coffee and chocolate and a good book and I'll likely be your friend for life. Get me talking about Naruto or the Drizzt series or Doctor Who and I will not shut up unless someone slaps me. I procrastinate. I do not think I have ever gotten anything done ahead of time or gotten a full night's sleep the night before something is due. I'm an insomniac, addicted to caffeine, and if you don't start the conversation, I'll likely not talk to you... 'cause I'm socially anxious.
Favorite Books:The Dragon Lance Series, The Forgotten Realms Series, War of the Spider Queen (WotSQ), Fruits Basket, Full Metal Alchemist, the Inheritance Series, The Three Musketeers, Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, Godchild and the Count Cain Saga, Ludwig Kakumei, Harry Potter Series, Year of the Hangman, Shanara series, Tokyo Babylon, Battle Royal, 1984, Fools' Gold Series, The Song of Albion, The Child Thief, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Domes of Fire, Black Cat, Bride of the Water God, Tarrot Cafe, The Belgariad, The Malorean, The Night Angel series, Incarceron, John Dies at the End, and The Secrets of Dragon Home.
Sexual Orientation: Bi.
Things I Can't Stand: Snobs, boring lectures, boring books, pop music (unless its Swedish), loud noises, crowded places, Disney Channel and its actors-turned-'singers', telephones ringing more than twice on a Saturday morning, my little brother before my second cup of coffee, any of my siblings after 10 pm, homophobes - even if it is fun to mess with them-, boring books that drag on and on and on and on..., and living on busy roads. I prefer living in the middle of nowhere.
Favorite TV Shows: Naruto, Bleach, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Sherlock (BBC Adaptation), Doctor Who, Merlin, and Game of Thrones.
Favorite Movies: The Last Samurai, The Patriot, V for Vendetta, Premonition, Sweeny Todd (Johnny Depp version just came out and it was awesome.), The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Alice and Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story 1-2 (so I like kids movies, sue me), Madagascar, Shutter, Kung Pow, Taken, The Prestige, The Illusionist, X-Men 1-3 and Origins, Pirates of the Caribbean 1-4, Stage Beauty, the Producers, Repo: The Genetic Opera, Pathology(don't watch it if you're under 18), Harry Potter 1-8, Star Wars 1-6, The Three Musketeers, anything Monty Python, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Serenity, Donnie Darko, the silent movie Phantom of the Opera (its especially good when you put in your own lines), Cats, Iron Man I-II, Thor, Captain America, The Avengers, the Sherlock Holmes movies w/ RDJ.
My Take on Religion: I think that Christianity and Islamic religions have their ups and downs; their ups are some of the people I know from each religion are some of the nicest people I know, and their downs are they have only one God and they have fanatics that persecute other religions and races just because they're different, but every religion has those. Monotheist groups just seem to have more vocal ones. Most Christians would think I'm going to hell, so I've decided that if that's where I'm spending my afterlife, I might as well do it thoroughly. Hell in my religion is actually quite hospitable. I don't hate Christians themselves, nor do I hate their ideals, but I do hate the 'if you're not one of them, you're obviously of the devil's ilk' type of attitude. I, personally, need more than one god/dess to help keep me out of trouble. I'm Aesatru, the Norse/Viking religion that believes in Thor and Odin and other such gods/desses. I also don't care if you despise me for this, I've really given up caring about how people feel about my beliefs and sexual preferences. I am who I am and your opinion doesn't matter much to me.
Note: I believe words are powerful; they can bind a person just as easily as ropes or chains. Words have a power of their own, some would deny this fact and others believe in this strongly. I am one of the latter variety. That's why you'll find so many sayings on my profile; words intended for comedy can make someone laugh when they would otherwise sink into despair, and words that have a deeper meaning and were meant to inspire can change someone's life, for the better or the worst is up to them.
