Author has written 5 stories for Supernatural. I am super excited to be going to the March Supernatural Convention in Cherry Hill! Hope to see some of you there! One of these days I'll get around to changing this thing. LOL So what can I say. I've loved reading my entire life and always thought I was completely incapable of writing a readable story. My first try at writing was several years ago when I wrote some fic for Emergency. Doing research for those stories really developed my fascination for the fire service. When I was talking to one of the firefighters at a school fair he urged me to pick up an application. Mind you, I'm 5'2" on my tall days and top out at 120 at my heaviest. I thought he was insane, but when I picked up the app I realized EVERYONE at the station was insane, so I joined. They are all part of my family now, and the fire service is still one of my biggest passions. Ironically I was so busy when I first joined that I didn't have time to write anymore. Supernatural was the first show to win me over so completely that I had to try writing again. I became involved with the SFTCOL(AR)S board, and everyone there is just so wonderful and encouraging that I took the plunge. I love writing and I'm trying hard to learn and improve so that I can produce some enjoyable stories...and who knows...maybe take it a little farther some day. I've got a wonderful wonderful family who are just so supportive of my writing. My husband bought me books about writing for Christmas, my teenage daughter let's me babble at her about plot points, and my teenage son helps me to choreograph fight scenes. |
