General:

My writing leans towards character studies and longer adventure works, which often feature the occult/cryptids, angst, action, fluff, etc. I also write a lot of meta.

I'm a fan of a lot of series but I tend to gravitate towards Mochizuki's works and older and/or lesser known manga. I also really like video games, sci-fi, and fantasy, which I talk about a lot on my Dreamwidth.

Updates will happen when they happen. Please check out this reminder (bemused-writer (dot) /374820.html) about reviews. You can always look at the "writing update" tag to get an idea of where things are at, but in short: things are not abandoned unless I say "this is abandoned" in the text or tags somewhere.

I've been actively involved in online fandom since around 2007 when I first signed up for . Before that I was more of a lurker. I took a break creating content for several years, but as of 2018 I'm back at it with a vengeance.

Some of my other interests include crochet, tarot, NaNoWriMo, and history.

Name Change: Way back in the day I used to go around by the name of Sky Falls and Elisabetta Avalone but for the sake of keeping all my stuff under one username I've switched it to Bemused Writer, which is basically what I am at most places as you can see in the links above.
