Hi, my name is Leah. I was first introduced to the Monk TV series in 2019 and quickly became a huge fan. I grew to love the characters as well as the stories. After watching all eight seasons, I was eager for more, but seeing that ten years had passed since the finale, I knew it was unlikely I'd see the characters I'd grown to love on the screen again. After reading some of the wonderful fanfic here, I felt inspired to try writing my own story, and in May 2020, I published my first fanfic, Mr. Monk and the Miracle of Adoption. I was deeply humbled by the positive response I received from the readers here. If you are one of them, thank you for your support. It means the world to me.

Since that time, I haven't stopped thinking about Monk, Natalie, and all the wonderful characters from my favorite show. I also haven't quit thinking about the possible scenarios these characters could find themselves in if their stories had continued to be told after the finale. We saw Monk solve his beloved Trudy's murder, but what if we could see what happened beyond that montage at the end? Would Natalie stay with Steven Albright? Would Monk ever find true love again? Would he remain close to Molly? What mysteries are waiting for him to solve? What about Julie, Leland, Randy, and Sharona? What are their continuing stories?

Please join me as I explore these questions and the possible answers to them. Mr. Monk and the Miracle of Adoption is the first installment of The Monk Family Series. It picks up approximately six months after Mr. Monk and the End. You will find all of your favorite characters from the show, plus a couple of new ones. Story #2: Mr. Monk and the Sins of the Father, story #3: Mr. Monk and the Secret of the Old House, and story #4: Mr. Monk and the Tangled Web, complete the series.

Mr. Monk's Wonderful Life is a Christmas one-shot with all the main characters and more.
