![]() There are three fandoms I consider myself well read in and which have three of the greatest literary masterpieces I have had the pleasure of reading. If you happen to be reading this profile, I suggest you read these stories as well. 1. Pokemon: Traveler by The Straight Elf. I consider myself to be pretty well read. Novels, fanfics, books et cetera, I've read a lot. To this day, non-ironically, I haven't read something as good as Traveler. Even if you've never even heard of or played or seen Pokemon before, I implore you to give this a chance. It's the single best thing I have ever read and will ever read. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius is a close second though. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown was really good too. But this? The best. 2. Percy Jackson: An Impractical Guide to Godhood by Antony444. Well, I'll be honest, this really doesn't have any competition, the fandom for this series is hilariously lacking for good quality stories apart from a few authors. But this story, which technically doesn't have Percy in it, is really fucking good. The plot is interwoven amongst endless schemes, humor is its best friend and insanity is its home. Some things I'm confused how the author even came up with. Probably a generous amount of coke. Yes, that kind. 3. Harry Potter: Parallel Journey by InkVirus. This was the best combat-focused piece of fiction I've read. Imagination was stretched to hell and back to write some of the fights in it. The plot wasn't something otherworldly but the fights? The dialogue? Adrenaline inducing good. None of the tropes and repetition that plagues this fandom and despite really tough competition this is by far the best for me in it's fandom. I'm sincerely grateful to the authors who wrote any of my favourite stories but to these three in particular because they truly are an inspiration. |
