Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.
Name: Joseph (I'd put my last name, but you wouldn't be able to pronounce it anyway)
Ethnicity: I'm a proud Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Filipino yeah, too bad I only speak English
Books: Eragon, Eldest, Harry Potter series (though HBP was a complete and utter atrocity and the only reason I do not loathe DH is because of the whole graveyard visit, that was just beautiful)
TV shows: Lost and Prison Break
Movies: Harry Potter films, any Disney film, I Am Legend, The Lake House, Stranger Than Fiction, I Think I Love My Wife
Characters: Harry James Potter, Hermione Jean (I prefer Jane) Granger, Ronald Bilius Weasley (though I firmly believe that he doesn't deserve Hermione), the Weasley twins (Fred shouldn't have died!), Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Severous Snape, Sirius Black, James Potter, Lily Potter
Ships I Support and Why
Harry/Hermione: First and foremost its Harmony. They can be themselves around each other rather than act like something their not. Some may say that they're too close friends to become lovers, but in my honest opinion the relationships that last are the ones that start out as friendships. They also would never purposely hurt someone they care about unlike a certain someone. Also Ginny and Ron don't deserve them. Then there comes in the fact that of all the people that Harry has known it is Hermione who he needs the most. Just think how his life would be without her. I mean who else has done as much as she has. Every year (excluding year six which was horribly written) she had done something to help him out in the harshest of times. Also after some further thought I have found another reason to love this pairing. Something that everyone, no matter what you ship, would have to agree on is that this pairing would fall under the traditional hero-heroine kind of thing, and because of that I truly love this pairing. Why you may ask. Because things like this don't happen in real life. Sad but true. So in retrospect the most believable part of the entire story would actually be the pairings. Would that be considered ironic? That was a rhetorical question mind you. I will stop here or I will just continue ranting on and on and on.
Ron/Luna: Now I remember why I support this. It was because someone had written a piece of work that had given me a vivid image of what there children would look like, and I help but think that those children would look adorable. I know it makes no sense but that's the truth.
Lupin/Tonks, Bill/Fleur, James/Lily: I don't have a reason for these but they are the only canon ships that I like though I'd also put in Fred/Angelina but in my opinion its not really canon seeing that he dies.
Ships That I Neither Like Nor Hate
Draco/Ginny: I know that some people think that this is the perfect Romeo and Juliet thing and I would have to agree, but don't see it happening.
Ships That I Loathe, Abhor, Despise and Hate
Ron/Hermione: They are too different for this relationship to last. I know, I know opposites attract I don't care and besides Ron is a git plain and simple. He doesn't deserve her. I like his character mostly because I have friends that are like him, but still he's a jerk.
Harry/Ginny: This is just so wrong. It sends a horribly bad message that the beautiful and seemingly perfect yet shallow girl that has a crush on a good hearted young man will end up with that guy despite the fact that she doesn't even know who he really is and only sees the image that is projected of him. It also shows that an angelic girl that isn't so pretty has to end up with jerk who she will probably have a divorce with anyway. And there is also the fact that Ginny hasn't always been there for Harry and of course there comes the other fact that she let him leave her. Call me crazy but if you love someone I'm pretty sure you wouldn't do that.
