To be honest, I'm more of a reviewer than a writer. Though I do hope to get some stories up with a friend of mine (If we ever get around to actually finishing them). But don't expect any stories any time soon. I WAS going to do Literature 2 year's ago and this year, but I got stuck in some classes I've never even heard of, so that screwed my chances over.
Exams are finally over, I can read more now!
List of DOOO-I mean, Randomness:
Heritage: Australian, part Hungarian.
Likes: Anything that doesn't piss me off, people who actually put thought into their stories before they post, people who understand sarcasm when they see it, humorous one-shots.
Dislikes: People who think they can write anything they want and ask for opinions and then throw a hissy-fit because people flamed the story - long sentence short: Don't ask for opinions if you don't like being told that your story is a piece of crap, Mary-sues (Honestly, good stories are being buried under this crap), people who don't know sarcasm when they see it (If only people could sense sarcasm on the internet..), nail biters (You know, the people who bite their nails? Yeah, them), people who whine about no one viewing their stories - shut up and get better if that's the case, vegetables, procrastinators (Irony, I know), people who knock drinks over, people who don't understand how things work.
What does the 'D.' stand for? I dunno, I'm guessing it's just something I did while I wasn't paying attention. It most likely stands for 'Dumbtard' (A famous quote I use to playful insult my friends and family)
Final Fantasy - AuronxTidus: Come on, you know you love it.
Metal Gear Solid - SnakexOcelot: Unfortunately, there are very few fictions that involve SnakexOcelot of ANY sort (Except maybe three)
- The BossxThe Sorrow: Love it.
Resident Evil - WeskerxChris: Hey, I'm only human.
- AdaxLeon: Especially when it's humorous.
Silent Hill - HenryxWalter: Some how, it just works.
Kingdom Hearts: LeonxCloud: Super-sexy fun time! (Now if they only had whipped cream.)
Unfortunately, I haven't stumbled across any other good pairings YET, too busy to look for now.
Movies: Terminator 1, Terminator 2 (Made me cry, it deserves my respect), Gran Torino (Made me cry too), House of 1000 corpses (Bit dark, but has a funny side to it if you pay close attention), Devil's Rejects, iRobot, Artifical Intelligence, Pale Rider (Thank you Dad for showing me an amazing movie and a very amazing Clint Eastwood), Harry Potter Movies (I can't remember all of them), Final Fantasy: Advent Children, Team America World Police (Brilliant movie), Van Helsing, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (You know, the very first one that came out?..The one that came out in the 1990's?..Ah you don't know what I'm talking about..), Inglorious Bastards.
Games played so far: Condemned 2: Bloodshot, Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4 (And may I say, only DMC1 was the ONLY awesome game of the series, the other's could've been better), Dead Space, Dead Rising, F.E.A.R, Final Fantasy 6, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy 10, Final Fantasy 10-2, Final Fantasy: Crisis Core (Made me cry) Haunting Ground, Kingdom Hearts 2,Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Primal, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Shadow Hearts, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill 4.
Games I still need to get: Condemned: Criminal Origins, F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin, Halo ODST (Or whatever it's called),Resident evil Remake, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles (Look, I've heard it's crap, but I'm not gonna judge it until I've played it. They said RE4 and 5 sucked and I LOVED them. Just because it doesn't have zombies doesn't mean it's not a RE game.), Rule of Rose (Banned in Australia! RAGH!) Silent Hill: Homecoming, Silent Hill: Origins.
The Cake is no lie: Some people have said that "This game is shit!" etc, but they judge the game on what it is SHOWN to them, not what is hidden in the game. Like Resident Evil 4 and 5, people said it was crap because it wasn't what it's been BEFORE. Well, have some people gone to think that maybe Umbrella Corps massive world wide factories had put up Black Markets for terrorists to make more money after the Raccoon City incident? Or maybe that Umbrella Corp is a PHARMACY that deals with BIO-CHEMICALS, not just zombies. I've have actually had people say that "If it doesn't have zombies, it's not an RE game" to me and caused me to Face-Roll my keyboard. What I'm saying is that if someone says something about a game they've played and told you not to play it, let alone go near it, don't believe them. Try the game for yourself and see if YOU like it, that's all that matters.
Some people are just blind and don't pay attention to the game's storyline, clues and back-story the first time they play, which is why you have to keep playing again and again until you've fully understood everything behind the history of that game before you judge it. That's what I'm doing with a few games so far (Ones that I don't want to play again because they freak me out).
Video Games I love and Why: (Don't ask why I did this, I just got bored and started rambling in my head)
Resident Evil 4: Because Ashley can kick more ass than any of us. I don't care what people say 'Leon would let me use his guns!' 'I would be prepared!' Well, 1 - No, Leon would NOT let you use one of his guns, his been shot enough times thank you very much and 2 - How can you prepare to be kidnapped? If I was in Ashley's position, I'd be shitting my pants! And people consider me 'Brave' -Scoff-
Condemned 2: Bloodshot: Drunken hobo running around and punching people in the face all in the name of JUSTICE? Sounds good to me.
Resident Evil: Code Veronica: What do I need to say? It's Claire Fucking Redfield people. And Alfred Ashford, Cross-dressing psychopath extraordinaire!
Resident Evil 5: My friend threatened to kill me if I didn't buy it. I was trying to save my money but she's all like 'NO. ALBERT WESKER -slobbers all over the game-' (Well, maybe that's a bit extreme, but she did nearly maul me to death)
F.E.A.R: Same case as Resident Evil 5, she fell in love with Paxton Fettle. I didn't really mind the game anyway and it was on sale for 23 dollars.
Resident Evil 2: I'm cheap so I got the N64 emulator to play the game. Everything looks all mushed up in some weird sex orgy. I only got it for Claire Redfield. And Birkin, who doesn't love Birkin?
Silent Hill 4: Cripple with a cement handbag owning EVERYTHING? Hellz Yeah!
Bayonetta: Teaching kids that not only STDs can kill you, but the sex can too. (HOLY CRAP THIS IS AN AMAZING GAME) But I did get to the point where I loved it so much that I didn't see the flaws which lead me to hate it. I know, I'm strange. I still love the game though.
I was going to say Devil May Cry 4 just now, but I said No. Why? Because I finished it. I finished it and it SUCKED. Obviously, if you run around for 20 minutes on the final boss when it should take you 3 seconds there is something not right about it.
Resident Evil: Outbreak: Even though I don't know what's going on/Where I'm going/Not knowing what the hell I'm doing, it's still a pretty cool game.
House of the Dead 2, 3 & 4: Holy crap do I love the House of the Dead series, luckily for me, I got a gift card from a local gaming store off my brother and I saw a 'House of the Dead 2 & 3' game on the Wii. Best 40 I think I've spent. As for HotD4, I think it's safe to say that if you waste 90 on a arcade machine, you love the game a bit too much. I'm still waiting for the Wii version to come out (If one ever does sad face)
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles: Alot of important stuff has been left out in most of the scenarios..Such as Raccoon's Destruction, Rebecca and Billy's Scenario (I've got NO idea what it's called, bear with me..) and The Mansion Incident. It's still a fun game, and if you want a quick fix on what happens in the Resident Evil series without buying all of them, this game is a pretty good choise, though it would be recommended to actually buy the games if you want to know what happens. Or you can just look up the Resident Evil Wikia site, that works too.
