Author has written 4 stories for Robotech/Macross, and Ranma.
I'm Wilfi Te. I write stories. I also mow the grass, work on cars and sailboats and fly a Valkyrie once in a great while (98 skill level). I wouldn't say I'm all that prolific a writer, occasionally I get the bug; occasionally the bug gets squashed. :-) Hope you enjoy my attempts!
Also, please review. Knowing what people think of what I write helps me improve and it's a gratifying reward for the time spent writing. I will never beg for reviews, and I really despise long authors notes, but do like to interact with my audience.
Story Status: Expected number of chapters for each story listed, though this is subject to change. I try to keep this stuff updated.
Our Enemy, Our Friend: DEAD, can't find my notes (Lost on either computer #1 or #2, not sure) and don't remember where I was going. Sorry :-( Leaving up in case the bug comes back.
Vengeance Sworn: One shot, Complete. One of my first fanfics. It's probably not that great, but I leave it up for nostalgia's sake (who is this Nostalgia, and has she ever actually read the thing?) and as a comparison to how much my writing has improved over time (at least I hope it has :-).
Ryoga: Lost in-Where the Heck am I NOW?!: I've been working on this one for several years now. Have lost at least two different story outlines and one whole chapter due to computers that crashed and, in one case, sank with my boat (and most of the rest of our belongings). Lovely. While I am lacking some of the detail from the outlines, I have a definite idea of the ending and think it will run 7-9 chapters. I may insert another chapter between 5 and 6. Interesting tidbit: I started this when the title of chapter 2 popped into my head. I remember thinking "wouldn't that make a great fanfic title?". I'm much better at writing action than I am conversation, so by the time I got to actual content that matched the title, I realized I was already into chapter 2 of what would be a multichapter fic in an AU world, though I'm trying very hard to keep it an offshoot that smoothly fits into the original canon. Life's funny, innt?
Updated 1/21/14: Lost rewrites when my computer sank (no really, it did, in 20 feet of water with the rest of my 40 foot boat...grrr). Am resuming some limited fanfic writing.
Chapter 1: Stranger in a Strange Land - Complete.
Huh...Quiet on the Homefront: This is a very different format than anything I've ever seen before. I just started writing one day, then was surprised at the very unique cadence and flow when I went back to read what I had written. It's not quite a memoir, or diary/log entry, or even monologue. It's a bit of them all. I wrote a couple and was going to stop there, but I got several emails asking me to continue, and so I shall. There's no outline. I have an idea of where I want to get to, but have found that "just winging it" is the best way to write this kind of format. No promises on length, however it's looking like things will wrap up in 11 to 14 chapters.
